MVNU Highlights

Who We Are

Mount Vernon Nazarene University exists to shape lives through educating the whole person and cultivating Christ-likeness for lifelong learning and service. The University seeks to enable students to model the attitude expressed in its motto: “To seek to learn is to seek to serve.” As students experience the educational process, the University strives to enable students to function as competent Christians, citizens, and professionals.

Academic Summer Camps

Students are invited to join us summer 2024 for hands-on Academic Summer Camps! While students spend time as an MVNU Cougar, they will work with faculty, experience campus life, and participate in evening activities on and off campus. Choose from a variety of camps including Art & Design, Education, Engineering, Nursing, Science Exploration, Worship Arts and more! These camps are open to high school students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior years in the fall of 2024. Find more information here.

Club Sports & Arts

Adding competitive club sports and arts programming gives students the time to participate in the sports and arts they love and remain engaged in other Student Life activities for a well-rounded college experience. Students can enjoy disc golf, esports, swimming, theatre and more. See more at mvnu.edu/sportsandarts

Through MVNU’s dual enrollment and CCP courses, high school students can start earning general education college credits, both online and in-seat.
