TUITION

The charge for tuition allows you to carry 12 to 18 hours each semester. A tuition overload fee of $1,018 is charged for each credit hour over 18 in fall or spring. If you’re enrolled in less than 12 hours in fall or spring, you’ll pay part-time tuition of $1,018 per credit hour. Summer school tuition is offered at a reduced rate.

SENIOR CITIZENS (62 OR OVER AND RETIRED)

Senior citizens may enroll in traditional undergraduate courses tuition free on a space-available basis. Senior citizens must pay the technology fee and course fees. See the Admissions Office for details. Senior citizens cannot enroll in the adult-degree completion or graduate programs for free.

HOUSING CHARGES*

Unmarried students not living with parents or guardians must room and board on campus. Exceptions to this requirement are made for students who are 23 or older by August 31. The annual housing charge is $6,284 for double occupancy. If single occupancy is requested (and available), the charge is $9,426. Laundry facilities are provided for residential students at no additional charge. Students who live on campus are required to purchase the university's meal plan. Students are not permitted to occupy rooms during summer and other vacation periods without permission from the Director of Residence Life and the Student Accounts Office. When such permission is granted, a charge is assessed and must be pre-paid.

FOOD

The fee is $4,110 for a continuous service meal plan. A la carte meal rates are higher and are published in the Dining Commons.

STUDENT FEE

The Student Fee allows for technology improvements (Wi-Fi expansion, computer lab upgrades, and campus bandwidth increase) and enhanced student programming.

OTHER FEES

*Students residing in residence halls with University provided air conditioning will incur an additional housing charge of $172 for the 2024-2025 academic year.
