NSO Pre-Recorded Sessions

Welcome to our *On Demand* Virtual NSO Breakout Sessions! These pre-recorded sessions will explain more about what makes MVNU, well... MVNU!

Students are required to view ONE of each of the student virtual sessions. Parents are encouraged to view one of the main parent sessions.

All Breakout Sessions were held via Zoom. If you cannot access a recorded breakout session for any reason, please contact your Admissions Counselor.

Student Sessions

Student virtual sessions are organized by category below. Students are required to view one in each category. Note: Commuter students are exempt from the Residential Life Session and students living on campus are exempt from attending the Commuter Life Session. The College Credit Plus Student Session is for current CCP students only.

  • Residential Life Session — So you are living on campus! We’re excited that you will be joining us on campus this Fall. In this recorded session, we will provide an overview of what you can expect from living on campus, a tour of the freshmen residence halls and a townhome, an opportunity to meet other folks who will be living in your hall, and a time to ask questions of Res Life Staff. Presenter: Josh Kusch, Director of Residential Life
  • Student Life/Campus Ministries Session — Learn how to get involved in campus life and how to find some of the resources available to help you succeed. Also, discover what it means to engage in Spiritual Formation at MVNU through corporate gatherings, small groups, and service. Presenters: Rochel Furniss, Director of Campus Life; and Stephanie Lobdell, Campus Pastor
  • Commuter Session – Hear some personal experiences from other commuter students and learn about several resources and services specific to commuters so you will be ready to start in the fall. Presenter: Rochel Furniss, Director of Campus Life
  • College Credit Plus Student Session – Learn what to expect as a high school student taking college courses. Presenter: Jennifer Adkins, Director of Dual Enrollment
