AcademicsPresidential Scholarship

the highest recognition

The Presidential Academic Scholarship is awarded as the highest recognition given for academic, extracurricular, and church/community involvement and rewards students for their commitment to the vision of Christian higher education.

This scholarship is worth up to an additional $3,000 beyond other MVNU merit scholarships for which you quality and is renewable for up to five years based on the same maintenance criteria established for your other merit scholarships.

Eligibility to apply for this scholarship is based on your academic achievement and on your plans to enroll at MVNU as a freshman in the fall of 2020. You must have a composite ACT score of 26 or greater (or SAT combined critical reading and mathematics score of 1210 or greater) and a GPA of 3.50 or greater.

To be considered for selection, you must complete the application and the short essay included there. The same application may be used to apply for the university's Honors Program. The deadline for submission is December 1, 2019.

We look forward to receiving your forms and reading your essays.

PRESIDENTIAL/HONORS PROGRAM APPLICATION

The deadline to submit an application for the Presidential Scholarship has passed. However, if you missed the initial application process for the Honors Program, you may still apply for the program. Please contact Dr. Brett Wiley to request an application.
