Health Sciences Program Highlights
The Health Sciences program at Mount Vernon Nazarene University emphasizes hands-on, real-world learning that prepares students for a variety of healthcare careers. Through laboratories, experiential coursework, and practical engagement with health-related tools and settings, students apply what they learn in the classroom to real situations. Seniors also complete a practicum experience with community partners, helping them gain meaningful exposure to professional healthcare environments and build confidence for future roles in the field.
