MVNU Lecture Artist Series focuses on disabilities from a Christian worldview

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Lecture Artist Series will draw attention to advancing Christian principles and discipleship with and through those with disabilities, on Thursday, Jan. 23, from 7-8 p.m., with guest speaker Jamia Cinelli, area director of Joni and Friends of Ohio, in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University, in conjunction with Kenyon College and the Knox County community, will host the 17th annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Breakfast on Monday, Jan. 20, from 9-11 a.m., in Foster Hall located inside Ariel Arena, on the MVNU campus. Reservations are required.

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University is proud to host the 2019 District 10 Ohio Music Education Association (OMEA) Honors Choir Festival on Saturday, Nov. 9. The event will feature young vocalists from Ashland, Coshocton, Delaware, Holmes, Knox, Licking, Morrow and Richland counties from 15 participating schools.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University will explore the Electoral College’s history and relevance as it celebrates Constitution Day with Dr. Christopher Devine and “The Electoral College: How Did We Get Here, and What Comes Next?” on Wednesday, Sept. 18, at 7 p.m.
