“I can honestly say my relationship with Christ is the most important thing in my life. I live each day with the desire to show others the love of Christ through my actions and words. My prayer is that others would see Him in me, and that my life would be a light that shines to build His kingdom.”

“When I began looking for colleges my senior year of high school, I knew I wanted to attend a Christian university. I also knew I wanted to become a Speech Language Pathologist, so I had to find a Christian school that had a CSD department. God narrowed my options in schools down to one: Mount Vernon Nazarene University. The first time I came on a visit here, I felt so welcomed and loved. I felt at home and I fell in love with all that MVNU was, and the community it had to offer.”

Professors Impact

“My professors have pushed me inside and outside of the classroom not just as a student but also as a Christian. Each of my professors have spoken truth into my life through one if not more than one of the following; prayer, scripture, their wisdom, advice, or their personal testimony. They have encouraged me and they have helped shape me into the individual I am today.”

Changed by MVNU

“The friendships I have made here are truly indescribable. My coaches, professors, and mentors have all spoken so much truth into my life. They have come along side of me, they have pushed me, encouraged me, and loved me through hard seasons and joyous ones.”
