Root Inc. signs educational partnership with MVNU
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Root Inc., a Columbus based insurance company, has announced a new educational partnership with Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Through this partnership, Root team members are now eligible for a tuition discount towards MVNU’s online degree programs. This discount will allow their associates to advance their careers by pursuing higher education.
“Root is committed to creating an environment where our people thrive while solving complicated problems,” said Root’s Director of People Learning Erica Knisely. “Our partnership with MVNU enables our team members to grow and develop their skills and careers through investing in their continued education. When our people grow, Root grows.”
Founded in 2015, Root prices car insurance primarily on driving behavior, not demographics. By using mobile technology, Root rewards good drivers with low rates while promoting fairness in car insurance.
“It is an honor to be an inaugural education partner for Root,” said MVNU’s Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships Ryan Stagg. “Root is a fast growing, innovative company and MVNU seeks to contribute to their success by providing high quality, affordable online education for their team members.”
If you would like to partner with MVNU and establish a tuition discount for your associates, email Ryan Stagg at email@example.com for more information.
