MVNU Lecture Artist Series presents Greg Koukl

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University is pleased to host Greg Koukl as part of the MVNU Fall Lecture/Artist Series. Koukl is a Christian apologist, author, speaker, and founder of Stand to Reason. Koukl will speak on “The Intolerance of Tolerance” on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. in Faculty 105. Koukl will also present “The Moral Bankruptcy of Relativism” on Thursday evening at 7:15 p.m. in the R.R. Hodges Chapel Auditorium. These events are free and open to the public.

A central theme of Koukl’s speaking and writing is that Christianity — if it’s properly understood and properly communicated — makes the most sense of the world as we find it. Koukl has spoken on more than 70 college and university campuses both in the U.S. and abroad and has hosted his own call-in radio show for 27 years advocating “Christianity worth thinking about.”

An award-winning writer and best-selling author, Koukl has written seven books, including “The Story of Reality — How the World Began, How It Ends, and Everything Important that Happens in Between;” “Tactics — A Game Plan for Discussing Your Christian Convictions,” and “Relativism: Feet Firmly Planted in Mid-Air.” He has been featured on Focus on the Family radio, the U.S. News & World Report, and the L.A. Times. Koukl earned a master’s degree in Philosophy of Religion and Ethics at Talbot School of Theology, graduating with high honors, and a master’s degree in Christian Apologetics with honors from Simon Greenleaf University. He is an adjunct professor in Christian apologetics at Biola University.
