Mount Vernon Nazarene University finalizes new educational partnership with City of Mansfield

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — The City of Mansfield, located about 60 miles north of Columbus, Ohio, is Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s newest educational partner.  All City of Mansfield departments will be eligible for a tuition discount.

“Having obtained a college degree myself, I can appreciate the value of advanced education and am very excited with this new partnership opportunity for our employees,” said Mansfield Safety-Service Director Lori Cope.

Mansfield was founded in 1808, has a population of nearly 45,000 people, and employs about 475 people. This new partnership demonstrates the city’s commitment to the professional development of its employees.

“By partnering with MVNU, the City of Mansfield is providing a great opportunity for its employees to continue their education,” said MVNU’s Director of Outreach and Strategic Partnerships Ryan Stagg. “Public servants invest in their community every day, and this is a great opportunity for the employees to invest in themselves through education.”

If your organization is interested in partnering with MVNU, email Ryan Stagg at ryan.stagg@mvnu.edu for more information.
