MVNU Faculty Exhibit Coming to Schnormeier Gallery
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — The Art and Design faculty at Mount Vernon Nazarene University will exhibit various artwork at MVNU’s Schnormeier Gallery Aug. 28 through Sept. 28, 2017.
In this exhibition, faculty members will exhibit recent works including ceramics, painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, and graphic design. Each of the faculty participating is a working artist, educator, and has exhibited locally, regionally and nationally. Their studio practices are diverse and rigorous, and Schnormeier Gallery is pleased to present this array of creative expression.
There will be an opening reception on Friday, Sept. 1, 2017, from 6-9 p.m., in conjunction with Main Street Mount Vernon’s September First Friday in downtown Mount Vernon. This event and exhibition is open to the public. The show will be on display at Schnormeier Gallery weekdays from noon to 4:30 p.m.
