MVNU ensembles perform April 29
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio (April 15, 2023) —The Music Department at Mount Vernon Nazarene University will present the final concert of the year on Saturday, April 29, at 3 p.m. in the R.R. Hodges Chapel Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
The concert will include a wide variety of music featuring the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, String Ensemble, Goliards Chamber Choir, Treble Singers Women’s Choir, and Collegians Chorale. The ensembles will close the concert with an arrangement of Psalm 103 “Bless the Lord” with combined choirs and instrumentalists. Instrumental ensemble directors are Dr. John Packard, Chuck Dettmar, and Dr. Juan Carlos Ortega. Choral directors are Carrie Vail, Sabina Anderson, and Dr. Robert Tocheff.
