MVNU Alumni Receive Key Awards at 2018 Knox County Chamber Ceremony

MOUNT VERNON — Two MVNU alumni were recently honored with prestigious awards at the Knox County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony in January at the Kenyon Athletic Center.

According to recent news coverage in the Mount Vernon News and Knoxpages.com, MVNU alumna and First-Knox National Bank President Vickie Sant (’95) received the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the Knox County Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Awards Ceremony in January at the Kenyon Athletic Center. Sant has been a part of the Knox County community for nearly 60 years and part of First-Knox for 41 years.

MVNU alumna and Superintendent of Knox County Career Center Kathy Greenich (’89) received the Women in Business Leadership Award for her work in motivating girls to seek careers in fields such as engineering and technology.

Travis Keller, MVNU Director of Alumni Relations, shared, "Vickie and Kathy embody the mission of MVNU. They excel in their professions and serve our community in very meaningful ways. I’m honored to be in our family of alumni alongside incredible leaders like Vickie and Kathy. The MVNU Alumni Association congratulates them both and we are grateful for their community service and leadership.”
