MVNU accepting all CCU credits; matching fall 2019 costs
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University has announced it will match Fall 2019 out-of-pocket costs and a $1,000 grant to Cincinnati Christian University students who transfer to MVNU for Spring 2020. This offer comes days after CCU announced it will close at the end of fall semester.
Beth DaLonzo, MVNU Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing, announced MVNU will match out-of-pocket costs paid by CCU students for Fall 2019 semester after financial aid was applied. In addition, a one-time $1,000 grant will be awarded to CCU students who transfer to MVNU for the Spring 2020 semester.
Transferring students have the option to continue their educational journey in a traditional residential undergraduate program, a non-traditional undergraduate online program or a graduate program.
In addition, to make the path to transfer to MVNU even easier, MVNU will accept all CCU course credits in an effort to allow students to stay on their current course to graduation.
“We realize CCU students are struggling to make their next step, but MVNU is ready to walk them through the transfer process,” said DaLonzo. “We believe they will find a home at MVNU that will provide them with an enriching and rewarding college experience.”
CCU students interested in transferring to MVNU may use the code “CCU” when applying to waive the application fee. For more information, or to apply, visit www.mvnu.edu/ccu.
