Music Department to present traditional Advent Service
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — The Music Department at Mount Vernon Nazarene University will present a traditional advent worship service on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 7:15 p.m., in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium. The community is invited to attend this free event.
The service, inspired by the Service of Nine Lessons and Carols of the Anglican Church, will feature scripture readings by various members of the MVNU community and an advent devotional by Dr. Doug VanNest, interim University chaplain. MVNU Music Department ensembles will also provide special music.
