MVNU Community Music School announces summer programs

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – The MVNU Community Music School is excited to announce its 2019 summer programs.

The community school will offer “Tuesday Music School” with programs for Youth Band, Youth Strings, as well as a Summer Vocal Camp, from June 4 to July 9. Participants of these programs will have the opportunity to learn new skills as well as build confidence in what they already know. Each participant will receive a T-shirt as part of the participant fee and a concert will be presented at the end of the program.

The MVNU Community Music School is an outreach program of the MVNU Music Department and began in the Fall of 2018. The goal of the community school is to provide high-quality, affordable music enrichment programs to Knox County and surrounding areas to participants of all ages.
