MVNU Ranked Best Online College in Ohio by Affordable Colleges Online
MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — Mount Vernon Nazarene University was recently ranked 2018’s Best Online College in Ohio by Affordable Colleges Online (ACO).
A leader in higher education information, resources, and rankings, ACO identifies the Best Online Colleges for students across the U.S.
“We are so pleased to hear that Affordable Colleges Online recognized MVNU as the best online college in Ohio. We continue to innovate and expand our offerings for online education,” said James Smith, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing at MVNU.
“In the past year alone, we have added 17 online courses that are offered throughout the fall and spring semesters. This has enabled many dual enrollment students from around the state to begin taking classes at MVNU, and it has expanded the options we offer to our traditional undergraduate students as well. Our office of Innovative Education will continue to push us forward to enhance our online options in the years ahead,” said Smith.
AffordableCollegesOnline.org has distinguished its ranking scale by using a Peer-Based Value metric that compares the cost of a program to the cost of other programs with the same (or a similar) qualitative score. It also compares the qualitative score of the program to the score of other programs with the same (or a similar cost).
“MVNU is proud to receive this recognition and to have been chosen as the best online college in Ohio. We truly do work hard to ensure that our students have a great college experience. Online options range from General Studies, Business, Education, and Social Work to Ministry, Leadership and Public Administration,” said Christiane Robison, Director of Recruitment for the School of Graduate and Professional Studies at MVNU.
