Professor Judy Gregg Receives Doctorate
Dr. Judy Gregg, professor of nursing at MVNU, achieved her Doctorate of Nursing practice at Carlow University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in May of 2017.
Gregg’s dissertation titled, “Influencing Policy to Reduce Motor Vehicle Crashes in a Rural Community: A Multiple Stream Approach," focused on the decreasing motor vehicle crashes in Knox County. Gregg worked with worked with county stakeholders to improve the teen driving offender policies, allowing for first-time offender penalties and a Carteen program run by Knox County 4-H has been reinstated.
Gregg loves teaching at MVNU and finds educating the next generation of nurses rewarding.
