MVNU Recognizes Retirees

MOUNT VERNON, Ohio — A Recognition of Service and Retiree Reception was held Thursday, May 3, at Mount Vernon Nazarene University honoring retirees. MVNU is grateful for their 109 combined years of service.

MVNU honored Cheryl Furniss, Assistant University Registrar for Graduate and Professional Studies, 17 years; Rev. Joe Noonen, University Chaplain and Vice President for Student Life, 23 years; Denny Taylor, Director of Special Projects, 30 years; and Dr. Joseph Lechner, Professor of Chemistry and Department Chair of Chemistry and Physical Science, 39 years.
