MVNU to host Central Ohio Honors Choir
Mount Vernon Nazarene University will host the 2025 District 10 Ohio Music Education Association Honors Choir Festival on Saturday, Nov. 1. The day will feature a morning of instruction and culminate with a concert at 3:30 p.m. in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium on the MVNU campus. The concert is free and open to the public.
MVNU celebrates Vazquez Family Collaboratory
Mount Vernon Nazarene University officially opened the Vazquez Family Collaboratory, a transformative initiative supporting the Fairbanks Center for Global Engagement, in the Stephen W. Nease Center on Friday, Oct. 17. The Collaboratory was established through a generous endowment from Juan and Ines Vazquez and their family.

Mount Vernon Nazarene University celebrated the ribbon-cutting of the Fairbanks Center for Global Engagement on Friday, Oct. 17, honoring President Emeritus Dr. E. LeBron Fairbanks and former First Lady Anne Fairbanks, who served the university from 1989 to 2007.
MVNU reports strong enrollment growth
Mount Vernon Nazarene University is celebrating significant enrollment growth and deepening partnerships with Nazarene churches across the East Central field, marking a period of remarkable growth since 2023.
The university has experienced a 24.21 percent increase in total enrollment, including growth from 1,789 Full-Time Equivalent students in fall 2023 to 2,146 FTE in fall 2025.
