RN TO BSN DEGREE PROGRAM

Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s RN to BSN degree-completion program is designed for registered nurses who want to build upon their expertise by learning new, innovative approaches to improving health care in their communities, and by gaining experience that can be applied immediately in their nursing careers. The RN to BSN’s choice of formats allows students to attend courses in Mount Vernon or complete their degree fully online via video-conferenced classes. Plus, nursing students benefit from a cohort learning model that encourages student support and networking resources for years to come.

The RN to BSN program is offered by MVNU’s School of Graduate & Professional Studies and is accredited by both the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools and is approved by the Ohio Board of Regents.

The RN to BSN degree requires a total of

*Tuition costs are subject to change; the most current program costs are provided for students during the enrollment process. Textbook costs, resource fees, and graduation fees are not included in the total cost of the program. Course-by-course payment is due no later than the first course session.

TUITION GUARANTEE

Once enrolled, RN to BSN students’ course-by-course tuition will not increase—even if tuition for the program has changed. Payment is made on a course-by-course basis, and advisors are always available to help nursing students understand the payment process.

FINANCIAL AID

All students are urged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The application is available online. MVNU’s school code is 007085. Filling out the FAFSA is a vital step in the financial aid process and is required for any financial aid to be awarded.
