Online Bachelor of Arts in Leadership

Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s online Bachelor of Arts in Leadership degree program is intentionally designed for working adults—it’s convenient, affordable, and flexible. The program prepares ambitious students for leadership roles in organizations across all fields and industries.

This online leadership degree program can be completed in as little as 21 months (depending upon the student’s previous college experience) and features a variety of courses that, with the guidance of a Christian worldview, encourage students’ professional development and personal growth.

LEADERSHIP DEGREE CURRICULUM

Students interested in earning a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership must complete a minimum of

120

credit hours of general education, all requirements for the major, and 39 upper division credit hours. Many courses fulfill more than one requirement so most majors can be completed within the 120 credit hour minimum.

Students may be able fulfill their general education or elective class requirements by transferring previously earned undergraduate credits or applying Prior Learning credits gained through job or military training. In these cases, students may be able to complete this online degree in leadership in as few as 21 months.

Students must successfully complete Personal Development and Research Skills before continuing into the remainder of the BA program. In addition, the Applied Leadership Project may only be taken after successful completion of all other BA Core courses. All courses are 100% online.

Please note that costs are subject to change and updated program costs are provided for students during the enrollment process. Course-by-course payment is due no later than the first night of each course, and textbook costs are not included in the total cost of the program.

TUITION GUARANTEE

Once enrolled, course-by-course tuition will not increase—even if the university’s charges for tuition are raised. Payment is made on a course-by-course basis, and advisors are always available to help walk students through the process.

FINANCIAL AID

Students should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). MVNU’s school code is 007085. Filling out the FAFSA is an important step in the financial aid process and is required for any financial aid to be awarded.
