Online MBA/Master of Ministry Dual Degree Program

The MVNU School of Graduate & Professional Studies is proud to offer an online Master of Ministry and MBA dual degree program that is designed for working adults to complete from the comfort of their home in as little as 24 months. In this dual master’s degree program, students are equipped to engage in practical learning in the areas of business administration and strategic leadership; they then apply their newfound knowledge in their ministry organizations.

Our dual master’s degree program is designed for individuals who have entered the ministry field and would like to continue their ministerial studies while also obtaining a quality, comprehensive education in business administration. Through a rigorous and engaging curriculum, the M.Min/MBA program seeks to meet the educational and professional needs of individuals from clergy, parachurch ministries, and 501c3 nonprofit organizations, as well as other ministry-minded business professionals who may be interested in advancing into positions of administrative responsibility.

All of our graduate programs are regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission and approved by the Ohio Board of Regents.

The MBA/M.Min. dual degree curriculum combines practical application with academic study. Students in the program have the opportunity to practice supervised ministry, working with churches and gaining mentorship from pastoral leaders and church staff.

*THEO6023 (Doctrine of Holiness): A Wesleyan theological examination of the doctrine of holiness. Attention is given to the doctrine as it has been understood historically within the American Holiness and Wesleyan traditions respectively. The course addresses topics in the doctrine of holiness with application to preaching and teaching within the local church.

MBA/M.Min. CAREERS

The dual degree program is ideal for students who desire business management training along with a robust theological education to better serve their ministry as pastors, associate pastors, church administrators, or staff members in larger churches. Graduates of the MBA/M.Min. dual degree could also serve as a business or finance manager of their church or parachurch organization.

*All MBA/M.Min. students are eligible for a $5,000 ($500 per class for 10 courses) scholarship, which is the cause of the discrepancy between the cost per credit and total tuition. The total cost here reflects the cost with the $5,000 scholarship applied. The dual degree program schedule and costs are subject to change, and textbook costs are not included in the total cost of the program.

TUITION GUARANTEE

Once enrolled in the M.Min. degree program, your tuition will not increase for the duration of your studies—even if tuition for new applicants increase.
