Online M.A.Ed.—Intervention Specialist Degree Program
The MVNU School of Graduate & Professional Studies is proud to offer an online M.A.Ed. degree program leading to Ohio licensure as an Intervention Specialist for Mild/Moderate Disabilities. The online Intervention Specialist program is specifically designed to meet the needs of teachers who have an interest in and commitment to serving students in grades K–12 with disabilities. This includes licensed Early Childhood Education, Middle Childhood Education, Adolescent Young Adult, or Multi-Age teachers who wish to enhance their credentials and educators serving students with disabilities on a temporary or alternative special education license who wish to gain credentials needed to improve their employment options. The program results in a Master of Arts in Education degree and Ohio licensure as an Intervention Specialist for Mild/Moderate Disabilities.
The program is offered entirely online, allowing working educators to complete their coursework in the comfort of their home. To boot, the degree program can be completed in as little as 18 months.
