PRESIDENT'S CIRCLE
Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s President’s Circle is made up of friends and alumni supporters who contribute $1,000 or more to the university during our current or prior fiscal year (July 1 – June 30). Their gift fuels the University Vision to change the world with the love of Christ.
As our partner in the President’s Circle, you help provide the tools needed today to shape the influencers of tomorrow. Your contribution makes a transformative difference in families, communities and beyond.
Your investment impacts the entire MVNU Experience by:
- Providing tuition assistance to those in need
- Enhancing the quality of classroom and lab experiences
- Increasing the availability of service learning trips
- Supporting extra-curricular involvement… and so much more!
We will show our appreciation by:
- Inviting you to special events with the MVNU President and other society members.
- Communicating university updates through the Mount Vernon NOW magazine and The Flame donor newsletter.
- Recognizing you in the President’s Annual Report and our website (if desired).

- Can I give something other than cash, or invest in something more long-term? Yes and each presents different tax benefits, some options are listed below.
- Gift in Kind - A donation of goods or services.
- Gift of Insurance –You can invest portion of your insurance investment
- Funding an Endowment – You can invest in an endowed scholarship that will continue forever
- Giving in Honor or Memory of someone – Yes, you can name the investment to honor a living person or give as a memorial
- Gifts of Stock or Real Estate – Yes, let us know what you would like to give and when we can expect to receive it
- Donor Advised Fund – You may specify when distributions are made from your Donor Advised Funds
- Gift from an Employer Match – Yes, if you give a portion and your employer matches the rest you will still qualify for membership
- Can I pay over a certain time period and still receive the benefits?
- Yes! Just let us know what works for you and we will count your gift as a pledge to be paid in full by the end of the fiscal year.
