Women's Auxiliary

An important word to our faithful friends,

First, we want to say thank you for your patience with us as we, like you, have been navigating these uncharted waters. We also want to thank you for your faithfulness to our event year after year. As you know, all proceeds from this event go toward scholarships for our MVNU students, so canceling this event not only affects all of us, but also our students.

Next, the 2020 Women’s Auxiliary Spring Conference is canceled. Although we tried to find a time to reschedule, these are uncertain times and it just was not possible. We have 3 options listed below for your purchased tickets. We will begin processing refunds on April 15. Here are your options:

  1. Full refund: no need to contact us. If you wrote a check, your check will be shredded and discarded by April 15.

  2. Donate your ticket price to help offset the cost of the event so far. Please email Trinia Huddleston or call 740-397-9000, Ext. 4050, before April 15.

  3. Apply your ticket purchase to the 2021 event with Liz Curtis Higgs, with music by Lindsay HugginsMarch 19-20, 2021. Email Trinia Huddleston or call 740-397-9000, Ext. 4050, before April 15.

Finally, we would like to offer you a word of encouragement: Our God is not unaware of what’s going on in the world and He has not forgotten you. Jesus said in John 16:33, “I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

We also know from the Scriptures that God can take things that don’t make any sense to us and, “cause all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” May we never forget how big our God is! May we not be discouraged or defeated!

Keep your eyes on Jesus - He is working through all of this! Blessings to you and your families! Stay safe and healthy! We hope to see you in 2021!
