WNZR is a listener-supported ministry of Mount Vernon Nazarene University. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. WNZR's coverage area includes Knox County and portions of Richland, Licking, and Morrow counties. Future plans include a translator in Coshocton.

WNZR is a station with a heart for the community. Through fundraisers such as Food for the Hungry, Relay for Life with the American Cancer Society, and community events like the Knox County Fair, the Dan Emmett Music and Arts Festival, and the Fredericktown Tomato Show, and The Care Net Pregnancy Services Walk for Life. WNZR strives to be an active part of the effort to make our community a better place to live.

WNZR is a group of people who love Jesus Christ, and want to know Him more. As a body of believers, we feel that WNZR is not just a radio station, it is a ministry. We take this calling seriously, and strive to live our lives as we feel Jesus would.

THE MISSION OF WNZR is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, advance the ministry of Mount Vernon Nazarene University, and to serve the WNZR listeners.
