*MVNU Student, Justina Williams, a Junior Nursing major from Centerburg, OH, passed away over the weekend. She was taken off life support Saturday evening at 7:42pm. Justina had been in critical condition since the accident and never fully recovered.
*MVNU GPS Staff member, Michael Belton, is requesting prayer for his step dad, diagnosed wiht liver & kidney cancer. He was told he only has 2 months to live.
*MVNU faculty member, Denise Parks and family, as they prepare for their mother's funeral service this weekend.
*MVNU faculty member, Amy Biggs and family, death of her husband last week.
*MVNU student, Matt Anglea's father, Tom Anglea
*MVNU faculty member, Anderson Reearick, aunt Catherine (Cubie) Taylor passed away this past Tuesday. Dr. David Cubie (her brother) is already in New England.

*Melissa Prate Rex, MVNC 1999 alum, passed away Saturday, Sept 24 after a long courageous battle of Lymphoma. Public visitation is September 28 and Celebration of Life is at 7pm (immediately following visitation). Funeral is at the Indianapolis First Church of the Nazarene, 9401 East 25th St, Indianapolis, IN 46229. Private burial for family will take place Thursday, September 29.

*MVNU Professor Emeritus of English, Dr. Genevive Gubie, 85, of Mount Vernon , OH, passed away, September 8. Dr. David Dubie, her husband and Professor Emeritus of Theology, was at her side. Friends may call toight Monday from 6-8pm at Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene, where uneral services will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at 10am.
*MVNU student, Elora Russell, recent death of her mother.
*MVNU student James McDowell's aunt and uncle were in an automobile accident last Monday night and due to the seriousness of his uncle's injuries, he passed away on Friday. James and family are also requesting prayer for the driver of the other car who caused the accident.
*Continue to pray for MVNU faculty member, Debbie Snyder's mother, who is being cared for by Hospice.
