Tips to Honor Veteran's Day

1. Honor them with a lunch at school or at home.

2. Visit a historical landmark.

3. Write letters, poems, and create cards for Veterans and distribute at local Veteran hospitals and homes.

4. Bring a Veteran to school to share with the students about the history and experiances of being part of the armed forces.

5. Ask students to record a tape on why we are grateful for the armed forces.
