Mount Vernon Nazarene University: Life Changing

Dormitories & Apartments

All residence halls are connected to the MVNU private high speed computer network and the public Internet.

To support the Student Development Dept., residence halls have people to assist students in all aspects of campus life. They are Resident Directors (RDs), Resident Assistants (RAs), and Medical Assistants (MAs).

Don't forget to bring the necessities!

Dorm Life

Each dorm houses 150 students. There are two male dorms (Oakwood Hall and Redwood Hall) and two female dorms (Pioneer Hall and Galloway Hall) that have spacious floor plans. Dorm life includes many planned activities and a chance to meet many new people.

Apartment Life

There are apartments that consist of a living room, kitchenette, two bathrooms, and three bedrooms. There are three female apartment complexes (Maplewood, Elmwood, and Rosewood), three male apartment complexes (Cedar, Birch, and Cypress), and one male/female aparmtent complex (Spruce). Each complex has a nearby lobby with a laundry room, a TV (complete with Primestar satellite), a computer lab, and vending machines for late night snacks.
