The Lakeholm Viewer is the official student newspaper of Mount Vernon Nazarene University. The student staff assigns, edits, and lays out the articles, under the guidance of advisor Yvonne Schultz. Staff members, along with members of MVNU's journalism courses, write most of the articles; and while letters to the editor and article contributions are accepted, The Lakeholm Viewer reserves the right to edit or reject all copy.

Newspapers are distributed in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/ Auditorium lobby, the Hyson Campus Center Lobby, The Den, and several other locations around campus. They are also delivered to campus offices upon request.
