The purpose of the FCS club is to give students with an interest in Family and Consumer Science issues a chance to come together and form relationships with each other, while having fun and serving our community. Anyone can join the FCS club from any major or gender.

FCS activities include monthly meetings, movie nights, ice cream Sunday nights, and hot meals meetings. Several churches and organizations in the community work together to provide a hot meal for the needy of Mount Vernon. The FCS club volunteers to make the desserts for the second Monday of every month.
