November 5, MALONE COLLEGE
MVNU was shut out for the second straight match and only the third time all
season as the Lady Cougars fell 2-0 to Malone in the National Christian College
Athletic Association East Region championship match. MVNU out-shot the
Lady Pioneers 15-6, but Malone scored two goals in the final 17:06 to win the
match. Krysti Wilson posted three saves for the Lady Cougars, whose season
came to an end with a 12-6-1 overall record.

October 29, OHIO DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY The
Lady Cougars, who received votes in the latest NAIA poll, were upset 3-0 by Ohio
Dominican in the first round of the American Mideast Conference/NAIA Region IX
Tournament. MVNU managed just 10 shots in the match as the Lady Cougars
were shut out for only second time this season. Krysti Wilson posted 11

October 25, MALONE COLLEGE MVNU,
which received a vote in the latest NAIA poll, closed out the regular season
with a 4-0 shutout of Malone in American Mideast Conference South Division play
as the Lady Cougars clinched a home playoff match in the first round of the AMC/NAIA
Region IX Tournament. Allie Warnemunde scored two goals, while Allison
Elifritz added one goal and one assist. Kristy Brandolini also scored a
goal, and Jessica Ward registered an assist. Meanwhile, Krysti Wilson

October 22, TIFFIN UNIVERSITY The
Lady Cougars, who received a vote in the latest NAIA poll, rallied from an early
1-0 deficit to knock off Tiffin, who also received votes in the NAIA poll, 3-1
in American Mideast Conference South Division play. Kelly Sgambellone
scored two goals for MVNU, while Heather Ross added a goal and an assist.
Kristy Brandolini also added a pair of assists, while Krysti Wilson posted two

October 19, at Ohio Dominican University MVNU,
which received a vote in the latest NAIA poll, dropped a hard-fought 2-1
decision in overtime at Ohio Dominican in American Mideast Conference
South Division action. The loss snapped a 16-match conference
unbeaten streak dating back to 2003 in which the Lady Cougars had gone
15-0-1. Kristy Brandolini scored MVNU's goal with less than four
minutes remaining in regulation off an assist from Laurel Lautensack.

October 13, UNIVERSITY OF RIO GRANDE The
Lady Cougars blanked Rio Grande
6-0 in American Mideast Conference South Division action. Jessica Ward
scored two goals for MVNU, while Kristy Brandolini and Allison Elifritz each
added one goal and two assists. Allie Warnemunde registered one goal and
one assist, and Diana Flannery scored one goal for the Lady Cougars.
Leanna Goss, Stacy Robey, and Holly Dyer were also each credited with an assist
in the match. Meanwhile, Krysti Wilson and Whitney Tatko combined to stop

October 8, at Walsh University MVNU
pulled out an important American Mideast Conference South Division road victory
with a 3-1 win at Walsh. Kristy Brandolini led the way for the Lady
Cougars with two goals, while Heather Ross scored the game-winner. Laurel
Lautensack and Kelly Sgambellone were each credited with an assist in the match,

October 4, at Cedarville University The
Lady Cougars played to a 1-1 double overtime draw at Cedarville in American
Mideast Conference South Division action. Kristy Brandolini gave MVNU the
lead in the eighth minute with a goal off an assist from Page Miller, but the
host Yellow Jackets knotted the score in the 65th minute. Krysti Wilson

October 1, GRACE (IN) COLLEGE MVNU
extended its winning streak to six straight matches with a 3-0 non-conference
victory over Grace. Leanna Goss, Jessi Gates, and Kristy Brandolini each
scored for the Lady Cougars, while Brandolini, Laurel Lautensack, and Allie
Warnemunde were each credited with an assist. In goal, Krysti Wilson
stopped six shots in posting her second straight shutout and the team's fourth

September 27, URBANA UNIVERSITY The
Lady Cougars notched their fifth straight win as MVNU blanked Urbana 2-0 in
American Mideast Conference South Division action. Kristy Brandolini
scored on a penalty kick with just over 12 minutes left in the match, and Kelly
Sgambellone added a goal in the 86th minute. Page Miller set up both goals
as she was taken down in the box to set up the penalty kick, and then she
slipped a pass to Sgambellone, who followed up her initial shot to score.
Meanwhile, Krysti Wilson stopped four shots in posting the team's third shutout

September 24, vs. Virginia Intermont College MVNU
defeated Virginia Intermont 3-1 in a non-conference match played at the
Town and Country Soccer Complex in Wilder, Kentucky. Diana Flannery
led the Lady Cougars with a goal and an assist, while Allie Warnemundie
and Kristy Brandolini each added one goal apiece. Heather Ross also
registered an assist, while Krysti Wilson posted eight saves in goal.

September 20, at Geneva (PA) College The
Lady Cougars downed Geneva 2-1 in non-conference action as Kristy
Brandolini scored both goals for MVNU. Laurel Lautensack was
credited with an assist on one of the goals. Meanwhile, Krysti

rallied for a 4-1 victory at Shawnee State in the American Mideast
Conference South Division opener for both teams. Kristy Brandolini
registered her second hat trick of the year and her third of the season as
she scored three goals and added an assist. Kelly Sgambellone also
scored a goal for the Lady Cougars, while Laurel Lautensack, Leanna Goss,
and Jessica Ward were each credited with an assist. Krysti Wilson

September 14, SAINT VINCENT (PA) COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars posted their second shutout
of the season as MVNU edged Saint Vincent 1-0 in non-conference action.
Kristy Brandolini scored the only goal of the match in the 62nd minute as she
dribbled through the defense and ripped a shot into the back of the net.

September 10, HOUGHTON (NY) COLLEGE
After knocking off two straight nationally
ranked teams, MVNU's bid for a third straight upset came up short as the Lady
Cougars fell 4-0 to Houghon, ranked 10th in the NAIA, in the championship match
of the W.g. Grinders Cougar Classic. After a scoreless first half,
Houghton scored four goals in the first 20 minutes of the second half to take
control of the match. Krysti Wilson registered nine saves in the match
including three in the first half to keep the match scoreless. Kelly
Sgambellone, Mara Hughes, and Page Miller were named to the All-Tournament Team

September 9, SAINT XAVIER (IL) UNIVERSITY
The Lady Cougars knocked off their second
straight ranked opponent as MVNU downed Saint Xavier, ranked 15th in the latest
NAIA poll, 5-3 in the first round of the W.g. Grinders Cougar Classic
Kelly Sgambellone registered her first career hat trick with three goals, while
Kristy Brandolini added a goal and an assist. Heather Ross also scored a
goal, and Bethany Watkins, Page Miller, and Allison Elifritz each added an
assist apiece. Meanwhile, Krysti Wilson stopped seven shots

September 3, at Spring Arbor (MI) University
MVNU, which is ranked 22nd in the NAIA
preseason poll, knocked off Spring Arbor, ranked 16th in the NAIA, 5-0 in
a non-conference road match. Kristy Brandolini tied a school record
with four goals in the match, while Lindsay See also scored a goal for the
Lady Cougars. Laurel Lautensack, Bethany Watkins, and Kelly
Sgambellone were each credited with an assist in the match.
Meanwhile, Whitney Tatko and Krysti Wilson combined to post the team's

August 29, at Taylor (IN) University
The Lady Cougars, who are ranked 22nd
in the NAIA preseason poll, suffered their second straight loss as MVNU
fell 4-3 in a non-conference match at Taylor. The Lady Cougars
rallied from a 3-0 first-half deficit behind goals by Allison Elifritz,
Stacy Robey, and Kelly Sgambellone only to fall on a late goal by the host
Lady Trojans. Robey and Page Miller were each credited with an
assist in the match, while Whitney Tatko stopped eight shots in goal for

August 27, at Missouri Baptist University
MVNU dropped its 2005 season opener
2-1 at Missouri Baptist in non-conference action. The Lady Cougars,
who are ranked 22nd in the NAIA preseason poll, avoided being shutout when
Kelly Sgambellone found the back of the net in the 86th minute.
Samantha Tomlinson was credited with an assist on the play.
Meanwhile, Whitney Tatko posted 10 saves in goal to keep the match close for
