November 17, vs. Bryan (TN) College
MVNC finished the season with a 3-0 victory over Bryan in the consolation match of the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament. Sarah Helbert, Sheri Shuler, and Lisa Hinman each scored a goal for the Lady Cougars as they finished the year with a school-record 14 victories. Holly Shuler and Bethany Seiffert also added one assist apiece, while Meghan Schymanski and Kristi Tuck combined to stop three shots in goal in posting the team's sixth shutout of the season. Hinman was selected to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts.

November 16, vs. Olivet Nazarene (IL) University
The Lady Cougars dropped a hard-fought 3-2 decision to second-seeded Olivet Nazarene in the first round of the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament. Lisa Hinman and Catherine Hess each scored a goal for MVNC, the seventh seed in the tournament in its first-ever appearance. Hess and Bethany Seiffert also each added an assist. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Meghan Schymanski stopped three shots in goal.

November 10, BAPTIST BIBLE (PA) COLLEGE
MVNC earned its first trip to the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament as the Lady Cougars downed Baptist Bible 4-0 in the NCCAA East Region Tournament championship match. Catherine Hess led the way with two goals, while Lisa Hinman and Amanda Vicroy also scored one goal apiece. Krista Reynolds, Bethany Seiffert, and Jessi Gates were each credited with an assist in the match, and goalkeeper Meghan Schymanski posted her third shutout of the year as she stopped five shots.

November 3, at Houghton (NY) College
Playing in the first NAIA postseason match of the Lady Cougars' two-year history, sixth-seeded MVNC dropped a hard-fought 3-2 decision in overtime at third-seeded Houghton in the quarterfinals of the American Mideast Conference Tournament. Krista Reynolds and Catherine Hess each scored a second-half goal to help the team overcome a 2-0 deficit, while Bethany Seiffert and Lisa Hinman registered one assist apiece. Meghan Schymanski recorded 10 saves to keep the Lady Cougars in the match that ended with a goal in the 103rd minute.

October 30, at Ohio Dominican College
MVNC won its fourth straight match and broke the school record for wins in a season with its 12th victory as the Lady Cougars blanked Ohio Dominican 1-0 in an American Mideast Conference match. Lisa Hinman scored the only goal in the match off an assist from Catherine Hess in the 83rd minute for the win. Meghan Schymanski posted three saves in goal in posting her second shutout and the team's sixth of the season.

October 26, at Cedarville University
The Lady Cougars matched their school record for wins in a season (11) as the team won its third straight match with a 1-0 shutout at Cedarville in American Mideast Conference action. Lisa Hinman scored the only goal of the match off an assist from Katrina Iles in the 30th minute. Goalkeeper Meghan Schymanski did not have to record a save as MVNC held the Yellow Jackets without a shot for the team's fifth shutout of the year.

October 23, at Shawnee State University
MVNC notched its tenth win of the season as the Lady Cougars downed Shawnee State 3-1 in an American Mideast Conference match. Krista Reynolds, Catherine Hess, and Bethany Seiffert each scored a goal, while Cheryl Balogh, Lisa Hinman, and Kelly Evans added one assist apiece. Meghan Schymanski registered three saves in goal to help post the win.

October 19, NOTRE DAME COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars posted their fourth shutout of the season as MVNC blanked Notre Dame 6-0 in American Mideast Conference action. Catherine Hess led the team with two goals and an assist, while Lisa Hinman added one goal and two assists. Holly Shuler and Cheryl Balogh each contributed one goal and one assist apiece, and Jessi Gates finished with one goal. Katrina Iles, Bethany Seiffert, and Sarah Helbert also registered one assist each. Meghan Schymanski and Kristi Tuck combined to post the shutout in goal. The match was the final regular-season home match for seniors Holly Shuler, Sheri Shuler, Tiffany Chappell, and Krista Reynolds.

October 17, MALONE COLLEGE
Despite a valiant effort, MVNC dropped a hard-fought 2-1 decision to Malone, ranked #15 in the latest NAIA national poll, in an American Mideast Conference match. The Lady Cougars held the Lady Pioneers scoreless until the beginning of the second half when Malone scored twice. Then, Amanda Vicroy scored off an assist from Lisa Hinman to cut the deficit in half. Goalkeeper Meghan Schymanski also recorded seven saves to keep the match close.

October 13, SAINT VINCENT (PA) COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars pulled out an important 2-1 American Mideast Conference victory over Saint Vincent. Catherine Hess scored the game-winning goal in the 79th minute off an assist from Holly Shuler. Cheryl Balogh had the team's other goal in the first half off an assist from Sarah Helbert. Goalkeeper Meghan Schymanski posted four saves in her first start in goal.

October 12, SETON HILL (PA) COLLEGE
MVNC dropped a hard-fought 4-3 decision to Seton Hill in an American Mideast Conference match. Lisa Hinman, Kelly Evans, and Cheryl Balogh each scored for the Lady Cougars, while Hinman, Catherine Hess, and Sarah Helbert each registered an assist. Goalkeeper Kristi Tuck finished the match with eight saves in goal.

October 6, GRACE (IN) COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars rallied for a 2-1 victory over Grace in a non-conference match. Bethany Seiffert scored a first-half goal off an assist from Catherine Hess to tie the match at 1-1. Then, in the 78th minute, Lisa Hinman scored the game-winning goal off another Hess assist. Kristi Tuck posted four saves in goal for MVNC.

October 2, at Walsh University
MVNC was shut out for only the second time this season as the Lady Cougars fell 2-0 at Walsh in American Mideast Conference play. MVNC out-shot the Lady Cavaliers 25-8, but came up on the short end of the scoreboard. Kristi Tuck posted five saves in goal to keep the Lady Cougars close.

September 29, DAEMEN (NY) COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars extended their winning streak to a season-high three matches in a row as MVNC blanked Daemen 5-0 in American Mideast Conference action. Bethany Seiffert scored two goals and added an assist, while Janelle Wine recorded one goal and one assist. Cheryl Balogh and Catherine Hess also scored one goal apiece, and Amanda Vicroy and Tiffany Chappell posted one assist each. Kristi Tuck recorded the team's third shutout as she posted five saves.

September 25, at Ursuline College
MVNC matched the school record for most goals scored in a match as the Lady Cougars downed Ursuline 7-1 in an American Mideast Conference match. Bethany Seiffert also tied the school record with three goals for her first career hat trick. Lisa Hinman and Cheryl Balogh each added a goal and an assist, while Catherine Hess and Kelly Evans recorded one goal apiece. Krista Reynolds tallied two assists, and Sheri Shuler and Holly Shuler each registered an assist. Kristi Tuck and Meghan Schymanski combined for three saves in goal.

September 22, at Roberts Wesleyan (NY) College
The Lady Cougars posted a hard-fought 4-3 victory at Roberts Wesleyan in American Mideast Conference action. Kelly Evans scored the game-winning goal in the 88th minute off an assist from Lisa Hinman. Hinman, Janelle Wine, and Jessi Gates each added a goal apiece, while Cheryl Balogh registered two assists. Catherine Hess also added an assist, while Kristi Tuck posted seven saves.

September 21, at Houghton (NY) College
MVNC had its two-match winning streak snapped as the Lady Cougars fell 4-0 to Houghton, ranked #16 in the NAIA, in American Mideast Conference action. Kristi Tuck posted 10 saves in goal to keep MVNC close, and Meghan Schymanski also added three saves. The Lady Cougars trailed just 1-0 at the half, but the Lady Highlanders scored three second-half goals to put the match away.

September 15, GENEVA (PA) COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars made it two wins in a row as MVNC blanked Geneva 7-0 in American Mideast Conference play. Lisa Hinman tied her own school record with three goals, while Bethany Seiffert added a goal and two assists. Kelly Evans contributed a goal and an assist, while Catherine Hess and Krista Reynolds also scored one goal apiece to help the team set a new school record with seven goals in the match. Kristi Tuck and Meghan Schymanski combined to register five saves in goal in posting the team's second shutout of the season.

September 14, CARLOW (PA) COLLEGE
MVNC snapped its three-match losing streak as the Lady Cougars knocked off Carlow 2-1 in American Mideast Conference action. Katrina Iles got the scoring under way in the third minute with a bending shot from 25 yards out. Then, Bethany Seiffert scored what proved to be the game-winner in the 39th minute on a penalty kick. Kristi Tuck posted five saves to help the team record the win.

September 11, at Urbana University
The Lady Cougars suffered their third straight loss as MVNC dropped a hard-fought 2-1 decision at Urbana in American Mideast Conference action. Krista Reynolds scored the team's only goal as Lisa Hinman and Kelly Evans each registered an assist on the play. Goalkeeper Kristi Tuck posted seven saves to keep the Lady Cougars close.

September 7, TIFFIN UNIVERSITY
MVNC dropped a 4-1 decision to Tiffin, the three-time defending American Mideast Conference champion who was ranked #12 in the NAIA preseason poll, as the Lady Cougars played their home and conference opener. Catherine Hess scored the team's only goal off an assist from Lisa Hinman in the 73rd minute. Goalkeeper Kristi Tuck posted seven saves.

September 1, at Kenyon College
The Lady Cougars dropped a hard-fought 2-1 decision to Kenyon at the Kenyon College Invitational. Kelly Evans scored the team's only goal in the 30th minute off an assist from Cheryl Balogh on a corner kick. Goalkeeper Kristi Tuck posted eight saves as she kept MVNC in contention.

August 31, vs. Capital University
MVNC successfully kicked off the 2001 season as the Lady Cougars blanked Capital 1-0 in the first round of the Kenyon College Invitational. Freshman Catherine Hess scored the lone goal of the match off an assist from Krista Reynolds in the 66th minute. Kristi Tuck posted the shutout in goal as she stopped two shots in her first collegiate start. Capital was ranked fourth in the OCSA Division III/NAIA preseason poll.
