After opening the inaugural varsity season with a loss in 2000, the team won a school-record 11 consecutive matches before suffering another defeat as the team went 11-8-0. The Lady Cougars finished fifth in the highly-competitive AMC with a 7-4-0 conference mark, and they also qualified for the NCCAA East Region playoffs where they fell in overtime in the semifinals.

In 2001, the Lady Cougars posted a 14-9-0 overall record and finished sixth in the AMC with a 10-6-0 conference mark. MVNU also won the NCCAA East Region title and advanced to the NCCAA National Tournament for the first time.

In 2002, Meade led the Lady Cougars to a 14-8-1 overall record and a 5-1-1 AMC South Division mark as he was named the AMC South Division Coach of the Year.  MVNU advanced to the semifinals of the NAIA Region IX Tournament for the first time, while also repeating as the NCCAA East Region champion and finishing fourth at the NCCAA National Tournament.

In 2003, Meade guided the Lady Cougars to a program-best 20-3-1 overall record with his first group of four-year varsity players.  MVNU also won the AMC South Division with a 6-1-0 mark as Meade was named the AMC South Division Coach of the Year for the second straight year.  The Lady Cougars went on to win the program's first NCCAA national title, and Meade was named the NCCAA National Coach of the Year as well as the NCCAA East Region Coach of the Year.

In 2004, Meade led MVNU to a 19-5-0 record as the Lady Cougars finished the season in the NAIA Top 25 for the first time ever at #23.  The team also repeated as AMC South Division champs with a 7-0-0 conference mark, and MVNU advanced to both the NAIA Region IX Tournament championship match and the NCCAA National Tournament championship match as Meade was again named NCCAA East Region and AMC South Division Coach of the Year.  At one point, the Lady Cougars also won a school-record 14 straight matches.

In 2005, the Lady Cougars opened the season ranked 22nd in the NAIA preseason poll - the team's highest ranking so far.  MVNU finished the season with a 12-6-1 overall record and finished second in the AMC South Division standings with a 6-1-1 conference mark.

A former four-year standout on the Cougar men's soccer team from 1990-1993, Meade served as an assistant coach with the MVNU men's team for one year following the conclusion of his playing career. He also served as the varsity assistant coach for the girls' team at Naples Central School in New York during the 1995-1996 school year.  In addition, he traveled with an Athletes in Action women's soccer team to Costa Rica in the summer of 2001 as an assistant coach.

During his playing career, Meade played in 81 matches which was a school record at that time. He was named to the Mid-Ohio Conference Second Team in 1990, and was an MOC Honorable Mention selection in 1993 when he served as team captain.

A native of Naples, New York, Meade is a 1995 graduate of MVNU. He earned his national diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association in the summer of 2000.
