MVNU dropped a hard-fought 81-79 decision in overtime at Roberts Wesleyan in the National Christian College Athletic Association East Region championship game.  Katie Keller led the Lady Cougars with 21 points, while Rachel Fiely added 16 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.  Amy Sebastian finished with 15 points and a career-high 13 rebounds, and Melissa Mastrodonato posted her first career double-double with career highs of 13 points and 10 rebounds.  MVNU finishes the season with a 15-14 overall record.  BOXSCORE


February 18, URBANA UNIVERSITY
The Lady Cougars closed the regular season with their third straight win as MVNU cruised past Urbana 81-63 in American Mideast Conference South Division action.  Katie Keller led the Lady Cougars with a game-high 26 points as she went 9-for-11 from the field with five treys.  Rachel Fiely finished with 14 points and seven assists, while Ashley Brown contributed 12 points, a career-high nine rebounds, and a career-high seven assists.  Melissa Mastrodonato also tossed in a career-high 12 points off the bench.  MVNU shot 50.0 percent from the field for the game and nailed 10-of-23 three-point attempts.  BOXSCORE

MVNU won its second straight game with a 70-62 victory over Malone in American Mideast Conference South Division action.  Katie Keller led the way with a game-high 29 points as she went 10-for-16 from the field.  Madisyn Helton added 16 points and a team-high seven rebounds, while Rachel Fiely finished with nine points, nine assists, three steals, and four rebounds.  Amy Sebastian also scored nine points.  The Lady Cougars were out-rebounded 41-21, but MVNU forced 25 turnovers.  BOXSCORE


February 11, OHIO DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY
The Lady Cougars snapped their eight-game losing streak with an 82-70 American Mideast Conference South Division victory over Ohio Dominican.  Rachel Fiely led the way for MVNU with 18 points, a career-high 11 rebounds, and five steals, while Madisyn Helton also tossed in 18 points.  Katie Keller finished with 17 points, and Amy Sebastian contributed 16 points.  The Lady Cougars also went 36-for-41 from the free throw line.  BOXSCORE

MVNU dropped a hard-fought 86-85 American Mideast Conference South Division decision at Rio Grande, who received votes in the latest NAIA Division II poll.  After leading by as much as 14 points in the second half, the Lady Cougars saw the host Redwomen make one of two free throws with 5.6 seconds left for the win.  Katie Keller led five players in double figures for MVNU with 22 points, while Amy Sebastian scored all 14 of her points in the second half.  Tiffany Youel, Rachel Fiely, and Erin Arnett each contributed 13 points with Arnett grabbing eight rebounds.  BOXSCORE

December 1, CAPITAL UNIVERSITY
MVNU took unbeaten Capital, ranked fifth in NCAA Division III, to the limit before falling 109-106 in double overtime in a non-conference contest.  Katie Keller scored a season-high 31 points to lead the Lady Cougars, while Rachel Fiely added a career-high 21 points, six assists, and six steals.  Erin Arnett posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds, and Tiffany Youel finished with 15 points.  The Lady Cougars were whistled for a school-record 34 fouls in the contest, and the two teams combined to go 69-for-95 at the free throw line.  MVNU also topped the 100-point mark for a school-record third time on the year.  BOXSCORE

MVNU let a 19-point lead slip away as the Lady Cougars fell 92-90 in double overtime to Wilberforce in the American Mideast Conference South Division opener for both teams.  Erin Arnett matched her career high with 30 points to go with 14 rebounds to lead MVNU, while Rachel Fiely posted a double-double with 13 points and a career-high 10 assists.  Katie Keller tossed in 12 points, and Amy Sebastian and Tiffany Youel each scored 10 points apiece.  MVNU committed 27 turnovers, was out-rebounded 50-35, and missed 13 free throws in the game.  BOXSCORE
