So far, the season is starting off well. With two wins under our belt, we are ready to take on Wilberforce for homecoming on Saturday.

One of the fun things this season is being able to get to know everyone on our team. And not only that, being able to mess with them a little bit. Since about half of the team is new this year, the upperclassmen have been able to have some fun. We recently told some of the freshmen that they had to sing the National Anthem by themselves before a game. Some believed us and some didn't. Others admitted that they didn't even know all of the words. We said it was a ritual that everyone has to go through and everyone will get their chance to sing.

With all the hard work we do each day in the gym, it is nice to be able to have some fun and joke around with one another. All the personalities on the team really bring some interesting times in practice and before games. Maybe it's a way to keep everyone going each day or a way to calm the nerves before we run out onto the floor. Whatever it is, it makes us the team we are and so far it has been fun!
