The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's basketball team finished fourth out of eight teams at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament as the No. 6 seed Lady Cougars fell 59-49 to host and No. 5 seed Grace (Ind.) Mount Vernon Nazarene University formally broke ground on a multi-million dollar construction project on Friday, March 2, which will result in a 68,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art athletic arena for the MVNU campus. The new facility, scheduled to open in the fall of 2013, will immediately become one of the largest event spaces available in the Mount Vernon and Knox County communities. Full story »
