Amber Rice
High School Information: Graduated from Garaway High School in Sugarcreek in 1996. As a junior, she was named to the Inter-Valley Conference First Team and the District 5 Second Team. Following her senior season, she was chosen to the Division III All-Ohio First Team, the IVC First Team, and the District 5 First Team, as well as being named the District 5 Division III Player of the Year.
College Honors: Named the National Christian College Athletic Association National Player of the Week once in 1997 and received Honorable Mention in the Mid-Ohio Conference.
1997 Statistics: Recorded 39 aces, 44 assists, 51 blocks, 269 kills, and 383 digs in 174 games. Posted a 96.5 serving percentage.
