the Lady Cougars extended their winning

“It is nice to clinch at least a share of
the conference title,” said MVNU head coach
Paul Swanson, who has now led the Lady
Cougars to seven conference titles in the
past 14 seasons. “(Ohio Dominican) really
played well, especially in the back row, in
the third and fourth games and made us earn
the win tonight. I was pleased with our
effort and execution.”
MVNU will return to action on Saturday
with a non-conference tri-match at Malone
College with a match against Malone at noon
and a match against Houghton (N.Y.) College
at 2:00 p.m. Then, the Lady Cougars will
look to wrap up an outright conference title
on Tuesday when the team hosts Shawnee State
University at 7:00 p.m. on Senior Night.
