November 20, at Cedarville University
The Lady Cougars fell to host Cedarville, ranked 25th in the final NAIA
national poll, 26-30, 32-30, 22-30, 24-30 in the championship match of the
NAIA Region IX Tournament as MVNU's season came to an end. Shena
Beheler matched her career high with 23 kills and seven blocks, while
Amanda Stevens added 13 kills and 26 digs. Allison Klusmann handed
out 50 assists with 14 digs, and Brittany Dixon and Tiffany Milburn each
posted 13 digs. Jenny Weaver contributed four blocks and nine kills, while Katie
Ickes pounded 11 kills. The Lady Cougars finish the year 34-14
overall and ranked 21st in the final NAIA national poll.
November 20, vs. Daemen (NY) College
MVNU held off Daemen 30-17, 30-23, 26-30, 27-30, 15-9 in the semifinals of
the NAIA Region IX Tournament at Cedarville University. Rachael
Stevens led the Lady Cougars with a career-high 15 kills and six blocks,
while Shena Beheler added 13 kills and four aces. Amanda Stevens
contributed 12 kills and 23 digs, and Jenny Weaver tallied 10 kills, 10 blocks, and
14 digs for her fourth triple-double of the year. Allison Klusmann handed out 49 assists with three aces,
while Bethany Anderson and Brittany Dixon posted 14 and 13 digs
respectively.
November 13, vs. Walsh University
The third-seeded Lady Cougars continued their run through the American
Mideast Conference Tournament bracket by sweeping second-seeded Walsh,
ranked 24th in the latest NAIA national poll, 30-20, 31-29, 30-27 in the
championship match at Daemen (NY) College. Shena Beheler led the way
with 13 kills, while Jenny Weaver finished with 10 kills, 11 digs, and
five blocks. Amanda Stevens added eight kills and nine digs, and
Allison Klusmann handed out 33 assists. Brittany Dixon also posted
seven digs.
November 13, vs. Cedarville University

added 17 kills and a career-high 30 digs. Rachael Stevens finished
with 11 kills and a career-high six blocks, and Brittany Dixon served up a team-high
three aces with 15 digs. Allison Klusmann handed out 53 assists with
13 digs,
while Jenny Weaver contributed six blocks and 21 digs. Katie Ickes
also pounded 10 kills, and Bethany Anderson and Tiffany Milburn posted 11
and 10 digs respectively.
November 12, vs. Ohio Dominican University
The third-seeded Lady Cougars eliminated Ohio Dominican, the fifth seed,
30-28, 30-22, 25-30, 30-17 in the quarterfinals of the American Mideast
Conference Tournament hosted by Daemen (NY) College. Shena Beheler
paced MVNU with 17 kills and three aces, while Amanda Stevens added 14
kills and 21 digs. Rachael Stevens and Katie Ickes each pounded 12
kills, and Allison Klusmann handed out 55 assists with 10 digs.
Jenny Weaver also contributed four blocks and 12 digs.
November 12, vs. Roberts Wesleyan (NY) College
MVNU, the third seed, knocked fourth-seeded Roberts Wesleyan out of the
American Mideast Conference Tournament 30-14, 32-34, 30-19, 30-25 in the
opening round of the event hosted by Daemen (NY) College. Amanda
Stevens led the Lady Cougars with 17 kills, 17 digs, and four aces, while
Shena Beheler and Jenny Weaver each pounded 12 kills with Weaver adding
six blocks and 11 digs. Brittany Dixon served up four aces to go
with 15 digs, and Allison Klusmann handed out 44 assists with 15
digs. Tiffany Milburn also posted 11 digs.
November 5, vs. Cedarville University
The third-seeded Lady Cougars upset second-seeded and NAIA #16 Cedarville
31-29, 30-23, 27-30, 30-18 in pool play at the National Christian College
Athletic Association National Tournament at Palm Beach Atlantic (FL)
University. Shena Beheler led the winning attack with 17 kills, six
blocks, and five aces, while Amanda Stevens added 15 kills, 21 digs, and a
school-record eight aces. Allison Klusmann handed out 48 assists,
and Katie Ickes contributed 15 kills and two aces. Jenny Weaver and
Rachael Stevens pounded eight and seven kills respectively with Weaver posting a team-high
eight blocks, while Bethany Anderson posted 13 digs. MVNU finished
tied for third in the pool at 2-2. For her efforts at the
tournament, Beheler was named to the All-Tournament Team.
November 5, vs. Oakland City (IN) University
MVNU, the third seed, swept tenth-seeded Oakland City 30-22, 30-20, 30-18
to notch its first pool play win at the National Christian College
Athletic Association National Tournament at Palm Beach Atlantic (FL)
University. Shena Beheler paced the Lady Cougars with 17 kills and
four blocks, while Amanda Stevens added nine kills and four
aces. Jenny Weaver also pounded nine kills with eight digs, and Katie Ickes finished
with eight kills and a career-high seven digs. Allison Klusmann
handed out 35 assists, while Tiffany Milburn served up three aces.
November 4, vs. Bethel (IN) College
The third-seeded Lady Cougars suffered their second straight pool play
loss at the National Christian College Athletic Association National
Tournament as MVNU fell 25-30, 30-32, 22-30 to sixth-seeded Bethel at Palm
Beach Atlantic (FL) University. Amanda Stevens and Shena Beheler
each pounded 15 kills with Stevens posting 13 digs. Allison Klusmann
handed out 36 assists with 10 digs, and Brittany Dixon and Jenny Weaver
also tallied 10 digs apiece.
November 4, vs. Hope International (CA) University
MVNU, the third seed, fell to seventh-seeded Hope International 26-30,
20-30, 28-30 in pool play at the National Christian College Athletic
Association National Tournament at Palm Beach Atlantic (FL)
University. Shena Beheler led the Lady Cougars with 10 kills and
three blocks, while Amanda Stevens added seven kills and eight digs.
Allison Klusmann handed out 31 assists, and Brittany Dixon tallied eight digs.
November 2, URBANA UNIVERSITY
The Lady Cougars closed out the regular season by sweeping Urbana 30-22,
30-17, 30-25 in an American Mideast Conference South Division match.
Shena Beheler led the winning attack with 14 kills and five blocks, while
Amanda Stevens pounded 10 kills. Jenny Weaver contributed nine kills
and four blocks, and Rachael Stevens posted three blocks and eight kills. Allison
Klusmann handed out 45 assists to go with two aces, while Brittany Dixon
and Tiffany Milburn each posted 13 digs with Dixon serving up two aces.
October 30, at Shawnee State University
MVNU rallied from a 22-26 deficit in the first game and cruised to a
30-28, 30-20, 30-9 sweep at Shawnee State University in American Mideast
Conference South Division play. Rachael Stevens pounded 10 kills to
lead the way, while Shena Beheler finished with nine kills and a
career-high 14 blocks. Amanda Stevens contributed seven kills and 13
digs, and Allison Klusmann handed out 29 assists to go with 10 digs. Katie Ickes posted
four blocks, while Brittany Dixon tallied 13 digs.
October 28, at University of Rio Grande
The Lady Cougars swept Rio Grande 30-21, 30-14, 30-27 in an American
Mideast Conference South Division road match. Amanda Stevens paced
MVNU with 12 kills and three aces, while Jenny Weaver and Shena Beheler each pounded 11
kills to go with five and four blocks respectively. Katie Ickes
smashed 10 kills, and Allison Klusmann handed out 39 assists.
Bethany Anderson served up two aces, while Brittany Dixon and Katie
Vipperman posted nine and seven digs respectively.
October 26, at Ohio Dominican University
MVNU dropped its second straight American Mideast Conference South
Division match as the Lady Cougars fell 25-30, 24-30, 30-21, 28-30 at Ohio
Dominican. Amanda Stevens led MVNU with 18 kills and 26 digs, while
Shena Beheler pounded 14 kills to go with six blocks. Jenny Weaver
contributed six blocks, eight kills, and 16 digs, and Allison Klusmann
handed out 48 assists with 12 digs. Tiffany Milburn also posted 10 digs.
October 21, at Geneva (PA) College
The Lady Cougars swept Geneva 32-30, 30-9, 30-22 in non-conference action
to capture the National Christian College Athletic Association East Region
title and earn an automatic berth in the NCCAA National Tournament.
Jenny Weaver and Rachael Stevens led the way with 12 and 11 kills
respectively, while Katie Ickes and Amanda Stevens smashed 10 kills each
with Stevens adding four blocks and 15 digs. Shena Beheler
contributed nine kills and six blocks, and Allison Klusmann handed out 41
assists. Bethany Anderson and Tiffany Milburn tallied 11 and nine
digs respectively, while Brittany Dixon served up a team-high three aces.
October 19, WALSH UNIVERSITY
MVNU was swept by Walsh, the two-time American Mideast Conference South
Division champions who received votes in the latest NAIA national poll, 28-30, 24-30, 24-30 in conference play. Shena
Beheler pounded 11 kills for the Lady Cougars, while Katie Ickes finished
with nine kills and three blocks. Amanda Stevens added eight kills
and 12 digs, and Jenny Weaver contributed six kills, two aces, and 11
digs. Brittany Dixon and Tiffany Milburn posted 12 and 10 digs
respectively, while Allison Klusmann handed out 31 assists.
October 14, MALONE COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars, who are ranked 24th in the latest NAIA national poll, swept Malone 30-26, 30-18, 30-27 in American Mideast
Conference South Division action as Amanda Stevens led the way with 11
kills and 15 digs. Jenny Weaver added seven kills, four blocks, and
11 digs, and Shena Beheler recorded seven kills and four blocks.
Allison Klusmann handed out 33 assists, while Brittany Dixon posted 11
digs. Rachael Stevens and Katie Ickes also pounded eight and five
kills apiece.
October 12, at Urbana University
MVNU held off Urbana 30-19, 30-28, 24-30, 25-30, 15-6 to post an American
Mideast Conference South Division road victory. Jenny Weaver posted
her third triple-double of the season with 13 kills, 10 blocks, and 11
digs, while Shena Beheler recorded 14 kills and a career-high 12 blocks
for the Lady Cougars, who are still ranked 24th in the latest NAIA
national poll. Rachael Stevens pounded 11 kills, and Brittany Dixon
served up a team-high four aces. Amanda Stevens tallied three aces
and 16 digs, while Allison Klusmann handed out 46 assists. Tiffany
Milburn also registered a career-high 13 digs.
October 7, at Tiffin University

for a 24-30, 30-19, 30-24, 30-28 American Mideast Conference South
Division victory at Tiffin. Amanda Stevens led MVNU with 20 kills
and 27 digs, while Shena Beheler pounded 13 kills to go with a team-high
seven blocks. Rachael Stevens smashed a career-high 12 kills, and
Allison Klusmann handed out 53 assists. Bethany Anderson posted a
career-high 20 digs, while Brittany Dixon added 16 digs. Jenny
Weaver also tallied six blocks and 13 digs, and Katie Ickes contributed 10

October 5, OHIO DOMINICAN UNIVERSITY
MVNU, who jumped into the NAIA Top 25 for the first time this season at

Conference South Division action. Shena Beheler led the way with 17
kills and a career-high 10 blocks for her second double-double of the
year. Amanda Stevens added 10 kills, three blocks, and a team-high
16 digs, while Jenny Weaver contributed 12 kills and three blocks.

win. Amanda Stevens pounded a team-high 12 kills to go with eight
digs, and Katie Ickes smashed 11 kills with four blocks. Jenny
Weaver and Shena Beheler each added nine kills apiece with Weaver posting
a team-high nine blocks, and Allison Klusmann handed out 39 assists.
Katie Vipperman and Brittany Dixon also registered nine and eight digs
respectively.

Division winning streak as the Lady Cougars prevailed 30-28, 30-18, 27-30,
30-25. Amanda Stevens led the way with 21 kills and 19 digs, while
Shena Beheler pounded 14 kills. Jenny Weaver tallied 18 digs and a
team-high seven blocks, and Bethany Anderson and Brittany Dixon each
served up two aces with Dixon posting 12 digs. Allison Klusmann also

September 25, vs. Olivet Nazarene (IL) University
The Lady Cougars defeated Olivet Nazarene 30-18, 30-16, 26-30, 31-29 in
the fifth-place match at the Best of the Best Tournament at the University
of Saint Francis (IN). Amanda Stevens paced MVNU with 18 kills, 12
digs, and four aces, while Jenny Weaver added 10 kills, a career-high 11 blocks,
and 15 digs for her second straight triple-double. Allison Klusmann
handed out 42 assists with 11 digs, and Brittany Dixon and Tiffany Milburn registered
13 and 10 digs respectively. Katie Ickes also smashed 10 kills,
while Shena Beheler tallied eight kills and four blocks and was named to the All-Tournament Team.
September 25, at University of Saint Francis (IN)
MVNU fell to host Saint Francis 21-30, 30-19, 27-30, 29-31 in pool play at
the Best of the Best Tournament. Jenny Weaver led the Lady Cougars
with 17 kills, 10 blocks, and 14 digs for her first career triple-double, while Shena Beheler pounded 13
kills. Brittany Dixon served up three aces, and Amanda Stevens
tallied 13 digs. Allison Klusmann also handed out 43 assists with 11
digs as MVNU

September 24, vs. College of Saint Mary (NE)
The Lady Cougars fell 27-30, 24-30, 28-30 to Saint Mary, ranked 10th in
the latest NAIA national poll, in pool play at the Best of the Best
Tournament at the University of Saint Francis (IN). Shena Beheler
led MVNU with 14 kills and five blocks, while Amanda Stevens finished with
10 kills and nine digs. Jenny Weaver also posted five blocks, and
Allison Klusmann handed out 37 assists.
September 24, vs. Lindenwood (MO) University
MVNU swept Lindenwood, who received votes in the latest NAIA national
poll, by the scores of 30-28, 30-27, 30-15 in pool play at the Best of the
Best Tournament at the University of Saint Francis (IN). Jenny
Weaver pounded 11 kills to go with three blocks and two aces, while Amanda Stevens
finished with nine kills and 12 digs. Shena Beheler and Katie Ickes

The Lady Cougars dropped an American Mideast Conference South Division
match to Cedarville, ranked 19th in the latest NAIA national poll, by the
scores of 23-30, 28-30, 26-30. Shena Beheler paced the attack with
12 kills and five blocks, while Amanda Stevens added 10 kills, 19 digs,
and two aces. Allison Klusmann handed out 29 assists to go with 11
digs, and Jenny Weaver contributed six kills, seven digs, and five blocks.
September 18, SETON HILL (PA) UNIVERSITY
MVNU swept past Seton Hill 30-10, 30-9, 30-22 in the final match of the
American Mideast Conference North-South Division Challenge. Jenny
Weaver led the way with 12 kills, three aces, nine digs, and six blocks,
while Katie Ickes and Shena Beheler pounded nine and eight kills
respectively with Beheler serving up three aces. Allison Klusmann
handed out 29 assists, and Brittany Dixon also served up three aces.
Klusmann and Ickes were each named to the All-Tournament Team.
September 18, HOUGHTON (NY) COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars swept Houghton 30-18, 30-24, 30-20 in the American
Mideast Conference North-South Division Challenge. Amanda Stevens
paced MVNU with 13 kills and 13 digs, while Katie Ickes pounded 11
kills. Shena Beheler finished with nine kills, five blocks, and
three aces, and Allison Klusmann handed out 33 assists to go with 11
digs. Jenny Weaver also contributed eight kills and five blocks.
September 17, DAEMEN (NY) COLLEGE
MVNU downed Daemen 30-15, 27-30, 30-24, 30-26 in the American Mideast
Conference North-South Division Challenge as Lady Cougars' head coach Paul
Swanson notched his 700th victory at MVNU. In 21 years at the
school, Swanson has posted a 700-243 overall record (.742). Amanda
Stevens led the Lady Cougars' attack in the match with 17 kills and 13
digs. Shena Beheler and Katie Ickes smashed 14 and nine kills
respectively, and Allison Klusmann handed out 48 assists. Jenny
Weaver contributed 10 kills and four blocks, while Bethany Anderson and
Brittany Dixon tallied 12 and 10 digs respectively.
September 17, ROBERTS WESLEYAN (NY) COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars dropped their second straight match in five games as MVNU
fell to Roberts Wesleyan 30-23, 17-30, 30-20, 31-33, 14-16 in the American
Mideast Conference North-South Division Challenge. Shena Beheler
paced the Lady Cougars with 19 kills and eight blocks, while Amanda
Stevens added 12 kills and 14 digs. Rachael Stevens pounded 10
kills, and Jenny Weaver recorded nine kills and 11 digs. Allison
Klusmann handed out 46 assists, while Brittany Dixon posted 10 digs.

MVNU had its seven-match winning streak snapped as the Lady Cougars
dropped a hard-fought American Mideast Conference South Division match at
Malone by the scores of 29-31, 33-31, 30-26, 29-31, 13-15. Shena
Beheler paced MVNU with 18 kills and six blocks, while Amanda Stevens
added 17 kills and 29 digs. Katie Ickes pounded 13 kills, and Jenny

September 14, TIFFIN UNIVERSITY
The Lady Cougars extended their winning streak to seven straight by
sweeping Tiffin 30-23, 30-20, 30-27 in the team's home and American
Mideast Conference South Division opener. Shena Beheler led the
attack with 13 kills and five blocks, while Katie Ickes pounded nine
kills. Amanda Stevens and Jenny Weaver each added eight kills and 10

The Lady Cougars outlasted Muskingum 30-28, 26-30, 30-24, 26-30, 15-10 in
the first match of the Otterbein College tri-match. Shena Beheler

Stevens finished with 19 kills, four blocks, and 25 digs. Jenny Weaver contributed

MVNU swept Baptist Bible 30-11, 30-16, 30-23 to win the Houghton (NY)
College Invitational. Amanda Stevens led the way with 13 kills and
12 digs, while Shena Beheler finished with 12 kills, 12 digs, eight
blocks, and two aces. Allison Klusmann handed out 24 assists, and
Jenny Weaver served up two

September 4, vs. Notre Dame College
The Lady Cougars remained unbeaten at the Houghton (NY) College
Invitational as MVNU defeated Notre Dame 30-20, 25-30, 30-16, 30-15.

September 1, at Ashland University
MVNU dropped its third straight match for the first time since the end of
the 1997 season as the Lady Cougars fell 26-30, 30-21, 22-30, 20-30 at
Ashland, an unbeaten NCAA Division II school, in non-conference
action. Amanda Stevens paced MVNU with 12 kills and 14 digs, while
Rachael Stevens added 11 kills and two aces. Allison Klusmann handed
out 38 assists and posted 10 digs, and Shena Beheler contributed nine
kills, two aces, and 10 digs. Brittany Dixon registered a team-high
16 digs, while Jenny Weaver finished with eight kills and four blocks.
August 28, at Lee (TN) University
The Lady Cougars fell 22-30, 25-30, 21-30 at Lee, ranked ninth in the NAIA preseason pool, as MVNU finished
third at the nine-team Lee Classic. Shena Beheler pounded a team-high 12 kills, while Amanda Stevens
added seven kills and 12 digs. Allison Klusmann handed out 28 assists, and Rachael Stevens served up two
aces. Jenny Weaver also posted three blocks, while Brittany Dixon registered 13 digs.
August 28, vs. Lubbock Christian (TX) University
MVNU suffered its first loss of the season as the Lady Cougars fell 18-30, 30-32, 30-24, 30-32 to Lubbock
Christian, ranked 17th in the NAIA preseason poll, at the Lee (TN) University Classic. Amanda Stevens
paced MVNU with 16 kills, 27 digs, and four blocks, while Shena Beheler added three aces, six blocks, and
19 digs. Katie Ickes and Jenny Weaver pounded 14 and 11 kills respectively, and Allison Klusmann handed
out a career-high 48 assists.
August 27, vs. Loyola (LA) University
The Lady Cougars finished up pool play at the Lee (TN) University Classic by defeating Loyola 30-19,
30-23, 29-31, 30-16 to finish first in their pool. Jenny Weaver paced the MVNU attack with 14 kills,
17 digs, and seven blocks, while Amanda Stevens added 14 kills, 16 digs, and two aces. Allison
Klusmann handed out 43 assists to go with 10 digs, and Shena Beheler posted 10 kills, 10 blocks, and two aces. Brittany

August 27, vs. Berry (GA) College
MVNU got off to a good start at the Lee (TN) University Invitational as the Lady Cougars swept
Berry 30-11, 30-22, 30-19 in pool play. Jenny Weaver led MVNU with 10 kills and eight digs, while
Shena Beheler added seven blocks and three aces. Allison Klusmann also contributed 29 assists
and seven digs, and Amanda Stevens finished with seven kills, seven digs,
and five blocks.
August 26, vs. Brescia (KY) University
The Lady Cougars rallied from a big deficit in the first game and went on to sweep
Brescia 31-29, 30-22, 30-13 in a non-conference tri-match at Cumberland (KY) College.
After trailing 16-7 and 20-11 in the first game, MVNU stormed back to win the game and
take the match. Amanda Stevens led the way with 16 kills, 13 digs,
and four aces, while Allison
Klusmann handed out 39 assists to go with 11 digs. Jenny Weaver added 10 kills, and Katie Ickes matched her career high with eight kills. Shena Beheler also
tallied three aces and a team-high seven blocks, while Brittany Dixon posted 13 digs.
August 26, at Cumberland (KY) College
MVNU successfully opened the 2004 season by sweeping Cumberland 30-17, 30-14, 30-19 in the
first of two non-conference matches on the Patriots' home court. Amanda Stevens led the Lady
Cougars with 14 kills and nine digs, while Shena Beheler made her collegiate debut with eight
kills, three blocks, and two aces. Meanwhile, Jenny Weaver added eight kills and four blocks,
and Allison Klusmann registered two aces and 36 assists. Brittany Dixon also posted six digs.
