November 17, WALSH UNIVERSITY
For the third year in a row, MVNC came up just short in its bid to go to the NAIA National Tournament as the Lady Cougars fell to Walsh 29-31, 30-28, 24-30, 24-30 in the NAIA Region IX championship match. Darcee Hoberg pounded 18 kills with 17 digs and four blocks in her final match, while Amanda Triplett blasted 15 kills with 16 digs and four blocks in her final match. Katie Zipf added 12 kills and four blocks, and Carrie McClelland posted 11 kills and a team-high six blocks. Andrea Rudd also handed out 43 assists in her final match, while Deanna Stayman registered a team-high 19 digs in her final match.

November 17, MALONE COLLEGE
The Lady Cougars advanced to the championship match of the NAIA Region IX Tournament for the third straight year with a 30-23, 30-20, 30-27 semifinal win over Malone. Amanda Triplett pounded a team-high 11 kills with 15 digs, while Darcee Hoberg and Carrie McClelland smashed 11 and 10 kills respectively with McClelland leading the team with six blocks. Chelsea Knight and Katie Zipf contributed nine kills apiece, and Hoberg posted a team-high 17 digs. Andrea Rudd also handed out 44 assists.

November 16, WALSH UNIVERSITY
MVNC, the top seed, fell in the championship match of the American Mideast Conference Tournament to third-seeded Walsh by the scores of 30-24, 14-30, 30-22, 23-30, 11-15. Amanda Triplett led the way with 20 kills and 23 digs, while Darcee Hoberg smashed 14 kills and posted 22 digs. Carrie McClelland added nine kills, and Katie Zipf finished with six kills and three blocks. November 16, DAEMEN (NY) COLLEGE
The top-seeded Lady Cougars rallied to defeat fifth-seeded Daemen 26-30, 30-28, 30-23, 30-28 in the semifinals of the American Mideast Conference Tournament. Amanda Triplett pounded a team-high 19 kills with four aces and 14 digs, while Darcee Hoberg added 14 kills. Carrie McClelland smashed 10 kills, and Katie Zipf and Chelsea Knight contributed five kills each with Knight posting a team-high four blocks. November 15, URBANA UNIVERSITY
After a nine-day layoff, top-seeded MVNC swept past ninth-seeded Urbana 30-17, 30-22, 30-16 in the quarterfinals of the American Mideast Conference Tournament. Amanda Triplett led the team with 11 kills and 12 digs, while Katie Zipf added nine kills. Darcee Hoberg finished with nine kills, 11 digs, and three aces, and Carrie McClelland posted seven kills and four blocks. November 6, at Walsh University
The Lady Cougars became the first team in conference history to claim at least a share of four straight conference titles as MVNC downed Walsh, ranked #19 in the latest NAIA national poll, by the scores of 30-23, 31-29, 21-30, 30-23 in American Mideast Conference play. Darcee Hoberg led the way with 15 kills and 12 digs, while Amanda Triplett pounded 16 kills to go along with 12 digs. November 2, vs. Indiana Wesleyan University
MVNC suffered its second pool play loss at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament as the second-seeded Lady Cougars dropped a hard-fought 30-26, 30-23, 27-30, 19-30, 16-18 decision to third-seeded Indiana Wesleyan, the defending NCCAA national champs, as the team bowed out of the tournament. Amanda Triplett led the team with 15 kills and 17 digs, while Darcee Hoberg added 14 kills, 16 digs, and three aces. Andrea Rudd finished with 17 digs and 47 assists, and Katie Zipf compiled 10 kills and seven blocks. Darcee Hoberg led the way with 14 kills and five aces, while Andrea Rudd handed out 37 assists. Amanda Triplett finished with seven kills and 10 digs, and Katie Zipf and Carrie McClelland smashed eight and seven kills respectively. Deanna Stayman also posted a team-high 11 digs.

November 1, vs. Union (TN) University
MVNC, the second seed, was swept by sixth-seeded Union in pool play action at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament by the scores of 29-31, 25-30, 25-30. MVNC won its ninth straight match and its 75th consecutive conference home match dating back to 1991 as the Lady Cougars swept Tiffin 30-28, 30-11, 30-17 in American Mideast Conference action. Carrie McClelland led the way with 11 kills and four blocks, while Katie Zipf added 10 kills and four blocks. Amanda Triplett pounded seven kills with 13 digs, and Darcee Hoberg finished with five kills and 10 digs. Andrea Rudd handed out 34 assists to go along with three blocks, while Deanna Stayman served up four aces. The match was the final regular-season home match for seniors Stayman, Rudd, Hoberg, and Triplett.

October 27, vs. Cedarville University
The Lady Cougars extended their winning streak to eight straight matches as MVNC swept Cedarville 30-11, 30-16, 30-12 in an American Mideast Conference match. Carrie McClelland led the team with 12 kills and three blocks, while Amanda Triplett also pounded 12 kills. Darcee Hoberg finished with 11 kills and a team-high six aces, and Deanna Stayman added three aces and 11 digs. Andrea Rudd also contributed 38 assists, two aces, four kills, and three blocks.

October 27, at Ursuline College
MVNC won its seventh straight match as the Lady Cougars downed Ursuline 30-11, 30-13, 29-31, 30-12 in American Mideast Conference action. Amanda Triplett (13), Carrie McClelland (12), and Darcee Hoberg (10) all reached double figures in kills, while Katie Zipf and Jessica Harding each posted three blocks. Jeni Vanderhoof served up five aces to go along with 10 digs, and Deanna Stayman registered 12 digs and three aces. Katey Percival led the team with 28 assists, while Andrea Rudd handed out 19 assists.

October 26, vs. Point Park (PA) College
The Lady Cougars made it nine straight years with at least 30 wins as MVNC swept Point Park 30-17, 30-14, 30-16 in American Mideast Conference action for the team's 30th victory of the season. Chelsea Knight led MVNC with nine kills and three blocks, while Carrie McClelland also pounded nine kills. Katie Zipf added seven kills, and Jessica Harding and Jeni Vanderhoof finished with six kills apiece with Harding adding a team-high four blocks. October 23, at Ohio Dominican College
MVNC won its fifth straight match as the Lady Cougars swept Ohio Dominican 30-28, 30-18, 30-17 in an American Mideast Conference match. Carrie McClelland led the way with 12 kills and six blocks, while Katie Zipf added eight kills in just 13 attempts. Darcee Hoberg finished with nine kills and 12 digs, and Deanna Stayman contributed four aces and 13 digs. October 20, UNIVERSITY OF RIO GRANDE

Amanda Triplett paced the Lady Cougars with 25 kills, 14 digs, and four blocks, while Darcee Hoberg pounded 24 kills with 20 digs. Carrie McClelland contributed 11 kills and five blocks, and Katie Zipf added eight kills and seven blocks. October 11, at Madonna (MI) University
The Lady Cougars saw their six-match winning streak come to an end as MVNC fell 20-30, 18-30, 24-30 in a non-conference match at Madonna, ranked #22 in the latest NAIA national poll. Amanda Triplett led the Lady Cougars with 12 kills and seven digs, while Darcee Hoberg added nine kills, three blocks, and nine digs. October 9, MALONE COLLEGE
MVNC notched its biggest win of the season to date with a 34-32, 31-29, 18-30, 30-18 victory over Malone in American Mideast Conference action. Darcee Hoberg and Amanda Triplett each pounded 14 kills with Hoberg posting 16 digs and Triplett registering 10 digs and two aces. Carrie McClelland finished with 11 kills and seven blocks, and Jessica Harding and Katie Zipf smashed seven kills apiece. Andrea Rudd and Katey Percival handed out 28 and 21 assists respectively, while Deanna Stayman recorded a career-high 26 digs.

October 6, vs. Urbana University
The Lady Cougars extended their winning streak to five straight matches by sweeping Urbana 32-30, 30-19, 30-26 in an American Mideast Conference match. Darcee Hoberg led the way with 17 kills, while Amanda Triplett finished with 10 kills and 10 digs. Carrie McClelland smashed 11 kills, and Jessica Harding and Katie Zipf added eight and seven kills respectively. The victory was the 600th win for head coach Paul Swanson in his 18th season at MVNC.

Carrie McClelland led the Lady Cougars with nine kills and five blocks, while Chelsea Knight smashed eight kills. Amanda Triplett finished with six kills and a school-record-tying seven aces, and Darcee Hoberg and Katie Zipf also registered six kills apiece. October 5, vs. Geneva (PA) College

September 29, vs. Shawnee State University

August 30, at Shepherd (WV) College
MVNC successfully opened up the 2001 season by sweeping Shepherd, an NCAA Division II school, by the scores of 30-21, 30-13, 30-23. Darcee Hoberg led the way with nine kills and 20 digs, while Amanda Triplett finished with eight kills and 21 digs. Katie Zipf recorded nine kills, and Carrie McClelland posted a team-high eight blocks. Deanna Stayman served up a team-leading six aces, while Katey Percival handed out 41 assists to go along with 11 digs.
