MVNU breaks ground on state-of-the-art arena for fall 2013

Mount Vernon Nazarene University formally broke ground on a multi-million dollar construction project on Friday, March 2, which will result in a 68,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art athletic arena for the MVNU campus. The new facility, scheduled to open in the fall of 2013, will immediately become one of the largest event spaces available in the Mount Vernon and Knox County communities. Full story »

No. 14 Taylor ends MVNU volleyball season in MCC Tournament

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's volleyball team put up a good fight against the top seed and regular-season Mid-Central College Conference champion Taylor (Ind.) University on Tuesday, but in the end the NAIA No. 14 Lady Trojans prevailed on their home court by the scores of 25-20, 25-13, 22-25, 25-21 in the first round of the MCC Tournament. Full story »
