Hey Everyone!
So, I'm sitting here in the library
trying not to think about the minimum of 15
pages I still have to type tonight . . .
sigh . . . and all I can think about is this
Saturday's match.
Cedarville. . . it's crazy that if our
regular season had only been one game long
this game would be it. Everything we've done
this year - the highs and the lows - all
come down to this one game . . . down at
Cedarville . . . and both of us are in the
exact same situation - it's win or go home
for both teams, so you can guarantee the
atmosphere is just going to be electric! I
haven't played there since my senior year in
high school when I was there for a soccer
camp. The last two years, we have played the
Yellow Jackets up here and we have played
110 minutes to say that the game is a
stalemate, split a point between the two of
us, and hit the showers. This year, that is
just not an option for either team. I really
wish we had an AMC/Fox Soccer Channel report
that way all of you could truly understand
the complexity and craziness of this
weekend. All of the top six teams play, and
all of them could finish anywhere from No. 1
to nonexistent - out of the tournament.
The whole season:
Last-minute wins at the First-Knox Cougar
Invitational over
Bluefield and
Spring Arbor . . .
Close, heart-breaking losses to
Rio Grande,
The Masters,
Walsh . . .
Heart attacks . . .
Come-from-behind tie at
Notre Dame . . .
A few goal fests along the way . . .
Players of the Week . . .
Faces in the Crowd . . .
California trip . . .
Saturday Night . . . at Cedarville (click

It's been a great season of memories. All
I really gotta say is that I'm not ready for
it to be over. Good news is that it's not.
It's down to the "one game at a time" part
of the season . . . 'cause that's all you're
guaranteed. So, I'll see you at Cedarville
and we'll go from there!
