Cougars advance past Roberts Wesleyan on penalty kicks
November 13th, 2009The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men’s soccer team advanced to the championship match of the American Mideast Conference Tournament for the second straight year as the Cougars battled top-seeded Roberts Wesleyan (N.Y.) College to a 0-0 draw in double overtime and then moved on with a 4-1 advantage on penalty kicks in a shootout. Full story »
