Lady Cougars close season with offensive explosion

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University women's fastpitch softball team exploded for 32 hits and 22 runs, got two solid pitching performances, and played great defense as the Lady Cougars posted an American Mideast Conference doubleheader sweep at Ursuline College by the scores of 9-3 and 13-1 to close the season on Saturday afternoon.
