Assistant Coach Josh Gast

Josh Gast is beginning his first season of work with the Cougars after a stellar four-year playing career at Cedarville University from 2000-2004 in which he finished seventh in school history in scoring (1,912 points) and first in career three-pointers made (320). He was a two-time American Mideast Conference South Division First Team selection and was named an NAIA Division II Honorable Mention All-American and an NCCAA First Team All-American following his senior year.

Gast, who is single and resides in Mount Vernon, will be working with the varsity team and helping with recruiting. He will also be working on his master’s degree at MVNU.
