May 5-6, at American Mideast Conference/NAIA Region IX Tournament
The Cougars finished sixth out of 14 teams at the AMC/NAIA Region IX Tournament held at Apple Valley Golf Course.  Malone College, who is ranked tenth in the latest NAIA national poll, won the 54-hole event with an 872 while MVNU posted a 941.  Individually, Raynard Martin and Derek Clark each registered a 230, while Jeremy Schlabach fired a 241.  Philip Beard and Kyle Vanover rounded out the scoring with a 246 and a 249 respectively.  Individual and Team Results


April 29-30, at Ohio Dominican University Match Play Tournament
MVNU finished third out of four teams at the Ohio Dominican Match Play Tournament held at Cumberland Trail Golf Course.  The host Panthers won the two day event with a 114, while Shawnee State University was second at 111.5.  The Cougars claimed third place at 101.5, and Urbana University was fourth at 93.  Raynard Martin's eagle on the par-4 15th hole was the highlight of the tournament individually for MVNU.


April 18-19, at Cedarville University Invitational
The Cougars finished fifth out of seven teams at the Cedarville Invitational held at Beavercreek Golf Club and Country Club of the North.  Tiffin University won the two-day event with a 615 to easily out-distance Ohio Dominican University, Shawnee State University, and Cedarville, who each tied for second at 640.  MVNU shot a 655 and was led by Raynard Martin, who earned a spot on the All-Tournament Team with a 152.  Derek Clark and Michael Willi carded a 167 and a 168 respectively, while Philip Beard and Kyle Vanover registered a 172 and a 173 respectively.  Jeremy Schlabach recorded a 167 as an at-large player.  Individual and Team Results


April 15-16, MVNU COUGAR CLASSIC
MVNU finished sixth out of nine teams at its own Cougar Classic Invitational at Apple Valley Golf Course.  Tiffin University won the two-day event with a 605, while MVNU registered a 636.  Raynard Martin led the Cougars with a 154, while Philip Beard and Michael Willi shot a 158 and a 161 respectively.  Derek Clark carded a 163, and Jeremy Schlabach rounded out the scoring with a 167.  Kyle Vanover (160), Jeff Dauterman (176), and John McClure (185) also participated as at-large players.  Individual and Team Results


April 11-12, at Walsh University Invitational
The Cougars finished sixth out of eight teams at the Walsh Invitational held at the Prestwick and Raintree Country Club courses.  Malone College, who is ranked 12th in the latest NAIA national poll, won the two-day event with a 631, while MVNU finished with a 662.  Raynard Martin led the Cougars with a 158, while Derek Clark and Jeremy Schlabach registered a 165 and a 169 respectively.  Philip Beard carded a 170, and Kyle Vanover rounded out the scoring with a 181.  Michael Willi also shot a 173 as an at-large player.  Individual and Team Results


April 8-9, at Urbana University Invitational
MVNU finished second out of six teams at the Urbana Invitational held at Woodland Golf Club.  Shawnee State University won the two-day event with a 614, while the Cougars finished tied for second at 648 with host Urbana but earned the runner-up finish based on the fifth man's score.  Philip Beard finished fifth overall and was named to the All-Tournament Team as he shot a 158, while Derek Clark and Jeremy Schlabach fired a 162 and a 164 respectively.  Raynard Martin registered a 165, and Kyle Vanover rounded out the scoring with a 172.  Michael Willi shot a 166 as an at-large player.  Individual and Team Results


March 28-29, at Shawnee State University Invitational
The Cougars finished fourth out of seven teams at the Shawnee State Invitational held at Elks Country Club.  Host Shawnee State won the two-day tournament with a 608, while Ohio Dominican University (614) and Cedarville University (616) were second and third respectively.  MVNU finished with a two-day total of 626.  Raynard Martin led the Cougars with a 148 as he finished tied for third overall, while Kyle Vanover and Derek Clark shot a 157 and a 158 respectively.  Jeremy Schlabach carded a 163, and Michael Willi rounded out the scoring with a 171.  Philip Beard, who competed as an at-large player, finished tied for seventh overall with a 152.  If Beard's score would have counted towards the team score, then MVNU would have finished tied with Ohio Dominican in second place.  Individual and Team Results


March 24, at Milligan (TN) College Invitational
MVNU finished third out of six teams at the Milligan Invitational held at Elizabethton Golf Club.  Host Milligan won the event at 304 and Virginia-Wise was second at 328, while the Cougars fired a 331.  Kyle Vanover led the team with a 79, while Raynard Martin fired an 80.  Jeremy Schlabach and Derek Clark carded an 85 and an 87 respectively, and Philip Beard rounded out the scoring with a 91.  Michael Willi registered an 86 as an at-large player.  Individual and Team Results


March 17-18, at Glenville State (WV) College Invitational
The Cougars finished sixth out of nine teams at the Glenville State Invitational held at Oxbow Country Club.  Fairmont State (WV) University won the event with a two-day total of 606, while Ohio Valley (WV) College was second at 611.  MVNU finished with a team total of 668, and the Cougars were led by Raynard Martin, who was 16th overall with a 160.  Kyle Vanover and Derek Clark shot a 165 and a 168 respectively, and Jeremy Schlabach carded a 175.  Michael Willi rounded out the scoring with a 208, while Philip Beard shot a 188 as an at-large player.  Individual and Team Results


October 11-12, at NCCAA National Tournament
MVNU finished 13th out of 21 teams at the 2004 National Christian College Athletic Association National Tournament held at Hombre Golf Club.  Malone College won the event with a 603, while Indiana Wesleyan University was the runner-up at 604.  The Cougars posted a two-day total of 666.  Individually, Raynard Martin led MVNU with a 161, while Derek Clark and Kyle Vanover each carded a 166.  Tim Hepner shot a 173, and Michael Willi rounded out the scoring with a 181.  Individual and Team Results


September 18, at Malone College Invitational
The Cougars finished eighth out of nine teams at the Malone Invitational held at Tannenhauf Golf Course.  Walsh University won the event with a 300, while host Malone was second at 303.  MVNU finished with a 328.  Tim Hepner led the Cougars with a 77, while Derek Clark shot an 80.  Raynard Martin fired an 84, and Jeremy Schlabach and Kyle Vanover carded an 87 and an 89 respectively.  Philip Beard also shot a 91 as an at-large player.  Individual and Team Results


September 10-11, at Tiffin University Invitational
MVNU finished fourth out of ten teams at the Tiffin Invitational held at Mohawk Golf Club.  Host Tiffin won the event on the fifth man's score as the Dragons tied Malone College at 601.  Bethel (IN) College was third at 615, while the Cougars carded a two-day total of 622.  Derek Clark paced MVNU with a 151, while Jeremy Schlabach and Kyle Vanover fired a 155 and a 157 respectively.  Raynard Martin shot a 159, and Michael Willi rounded out the scoring with a 172.  Tim Hepner also carded a 160 as an at-large individual.  Martin also won the Old Fort Bank Shootout as he beat out the top player from all the other teams in a match-play format at the end of the regular tournament.  Individual and Team Results
