November 15, at National Christian College Athletic Association Championship
The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's cross country teams closed out their season well at the National Christian College Athletic Association Championship as the Cougars finished seventh out of 18 teams and the Lady Cougars came in 17th out of 19 teams in races hosted by Cedarville University at the Elvin R. November 8, at American Mideast Conference Meet
Junior Mark Porostosky led the Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's cross country team to a 7th-place finish out of 13 teams at the American Mideast Conference Meet on Saturday at Ursuline College and in the process became the first Cougar runner to qualify for the NAIA National Meet.  The MVNU women's team also finished 13th out of 14 teams.  COMPLETE RECAP  |

October 25, at Aquinas (Mich.) College Invitational
The Mount Vernon Nazarene University men's and women's cross country teams ran against some of the top teams in the country on Saturday as the Cougars finished 17th out of 22 teams and the Lady Cougars were 19th out of 20 teams at the NAIA Great Lakes Classic Invitational hosted by Aquinas (Mich.)
