The last race is always bittersweet for
everyone. While I may have been so excited
when I finished running, I already miss
being with the girls. The race was at
Cedarville. Luckily, the weather was
amazing! Last year at this race, it was
snowing and hailing the whole time that we
were running.

The girls who finished before and after
me were on a team from Florida. Both of them
were wearing Under Armor and I was so
confused! We ended up talking for a few
minutes about a lot of things, and they
explained to me how it was freezing for
them. The race that they had a week prior to
that race was over a hundred degrees! While
I may complain about how cold it can get
here in Ohio, I am so glad that it is not
that hot here!
I am pretty sure that everyone was happy
with how they did. We all pushed through and
did our best until the very end. I am so
proud of all the runners!
This
whole season was amazing! I cannot wait
until next year to see what happens.
Brittany Click (left) and Tara
Patrick will be graduating. It will not be
the same without them, but I know that they
will still support us as much as they can.
There are a lot of guys that are graduating
also. It is sad to watch everyone leave, but
amazing to think about all the good memories
that came from running with them.
For the last hotel trip of the year, the
team went out to this Noodles and Company
place. I have never been there or heard of
it, but Nate Winters promised that it was
good. He was right! What was so much fun was
just talking with the whole team while we
were there. People probably thought that we
were crazy because we talk so loud! We all
laugh so loud!
At the weekly team meeting, we talked
about what really stuck out to us about the
season and how we have put so much time and
effort into the season and it paid off. I
already cannot wait until next year!
Overall, I am excited with how the season
turned out. The team was more of a family
and we all grew together. While I will miss
being with them every day, I know that they
have all left an impression on me and I will
never forget them. God Bless!
